Sisters of battle dreadnought?
Oh yeah [sp]There's at least one Dreadnought in the story as well[/sp]
And [sp]Adeptus Mechanicus[/sp]
Well depends on the scale, but mostly yes. Still, how much of Dow 1 and 2 is not completely fucking retarded fluff-wise?
You keep saying this over and over as if you think repeating it will mean anything. GW will NEVER have a 1:1 analogue of TT/TTF. EVER. They have DIRECTLY stated so, several times. It would immediately eat into their core business. It's never ever going to fucking happen, unless it's demonstrably shown that they can make the same amount or more on digital sales no matter how many times you bring it up.
So unless you and every one of your friends is willing to pay thirty bucks for a DLC with a SQUAD in it, it's not going to fucking happen.

I don't understand your argument. You're saying they would make less money on a proper W40K scale RTS then something like DoW2 which alot of people didn't like compared to DoW1? Also, where have they said they won't make it?

A game based on codex rules I can understand them not making
But just a game with ACTUAL FUCKING SCALE? That makes no sense

And that has anything to do with this how? What I said is that basebuildning might not make sense, but it's not like we don't have a lot f cases of gameplay over fluff in the previous DoWs.

Actually it'd more than likely add to their core business, since people who already play tabletop wouldn't suddenly stop playing it, while at the same time, bringing more awareness and a mainstream element, getting more people interested, as they do ZERO advertising. Though it isn't going to happen and probably would be rather limited if it did, but it wouldn't be as bad as all that. Just because it'd be played on computer, doesn't mean people would not play it on TT, and there's more to the hobby than just TT, there's building your army, painting, the social aspect of it, much more than you'd get from a simple Computer Games.
You know who eats into their core business? Games Workshop itself, with the recent embargoes, price hikes and sub par releases.

That line made me laugh my ass off, because prior to that cutscene I won by just spamming as many guardsman as I could :v:

I'm talking about your fluff-> electronic version sentiment. My opinion on any base building in 40K has already been stated and is unlikely to change.
core business
And they don't care. This is the model they've decided to operate under and if you can't afford their prices, I'm rather certain they're not going to lose sleep. They've stated what their model is, and they may change it in the future, but they aren't now, and whether you consider it gouging or not is pretty immaterial. FOX has been rather content to run Aliens and Preds into the ground and there are plenty of folks out there who continue to purchase anything with a logo on it. GW is a business, not a charity, and obviously people are willing to pay. The "electronic" GW argument is about 15 years old and they've haven't budged an inch since it started. You can't pirate miniatures.

Yes you can actually:

And if i get banned for physical warez, I will laugh so hard.
Can someone be nice enough to rip me the las weapons sounds from DoW2? I currently don't have space to reinstall it, but I need the sounds.

For the last level I had a Baneblade, 2 Leman Russ, and filled the rest with Storm Troopers with anti-armor. Had the storm troopers watch for the bloodlusters (?) and had everything else including my heroes shooting the boss.
For the last level I maxed out my pop with guardsman squads, of course i got the upgrades that added the vox trooper, the sergeant, and the commissar. They all died within 10 seconds of meeting the boss then I spammed Leman russes lol.
More people would get into the tabletop if the prices weren't so god damn expensive. I wanted to get into it for a while now but fuck it if im going to have to pay $30 for a single squad.
$30 for a single squad is cheap at these prices.
(unless you're playing nids, IG, or orks, in which case you have to buy a fuckton so the slightly lower pricing doesn't really matter)

Yeah, I always wanted to. But the price is ridiculously high. Furthermore the Games Workshops are pretty rare to find, at least in my area. I would have to drive like 150 miles or so.
I wish daemon princes in tabletop were as powerful as they are in video games :saddowns:

woo beat retribution as imperial guard
THANKS HUNDREDS OF STORM TROOPERS AND YOUR MELTAGUNS

Infantry? What infantry. Also fun fact, they all died like 3 seconds later when Kyras that attack that makes rocks comes up from the ground.
There is no quick way to do that battle is there? It took me and Fippe about 45 minutes as the Eldar. So boring.
orks are best on that mission, just get loads of shoota's and honour guards and make sure the cap'n have WAAAAGH for reinforcements and use mass stik bomb attacks.
I hate how Retribution's last boss was dumbed down so much.
Remember Ulkair, the boss who vomited everywhere and 2 hit your heroes.
Can you shoot a monstrous creature if there is a unit of (non monstrous) creatures in front of it?
does anyone want to play any dawn of war 2/expansions co-op?
Can you shoot a monstrous creature if there is a unit of (non monstrous) creatures in front of it?
Yes, but if they obscure more than about 50% of the model it gets a cover save.
