Question, what is with Space Marines and stairs.
Ask yourself:
What happens when a massive man clad in powerarmor weighing over a ton walks up a wooden staircase?
Question, what is with Space Marines and stairs.
supermen weighing over a ton each walking up a flimsy wooden staircase
the question answers itself

I believe this will answer that question, or at the least be slightly amusing to read.

After the many times I've read it, it still gets me in tears
supermen weighing over a ton each walking up a flimsy wooden staircase

superman clearly flies up staircases, pretending to walk up them, thus tricking the marines into thinking the staircase is safe.

Huh?
I got my cases and a few models today in the mail. The Terminators didn't come with lighting claws so I have to do a tiny bit of conversion using SM metal claws. Have to saw off the shoulder pad and replace it.
Just assembled one. It not half bad. Used some green stuff to fill in gaps.
Assault Terminators or regular shooty terminators?
Assault Terminators or regular shooty terminators?
Assault. My Thousand Sons and Oblitorators pretty much have the shooting thing down. They're going to be stuffed in a Land Raider most the time anyway.
Besides, we dont play with tournament rules at the shop so often we say a model has a different weapon than they are holding. Although I plan to use them with dual claws and a terminator sorcerer with them too.

Holy Batman, my IG Battleforce arrived from Darksphere. I can easily recommend them to anyone in Sweden who wants to save some money.
FRESH SPRUES.
Is the IG one still a russ, 20 IG, heavys and a sentinel?
FRESH SPRUES.Is the IG one still a russ, 20 IG, heavys and a sentinel?
I don't think there ever has been a Russ in there. But then again I am new to the hobby. 20 Guardsmen, 5 HQ guys, three heavy weapon teams and a sentinel. This box costs $132 in Sweden, but when buying it from Darksphere in the UK, I paid $89 and that is with shipping!

Optimized suicide termi squad is best termi squad

They have a land raider. I was sure Termicide was when they deepstrike.
If I were a rich man I'd rig all the miniatures in a game with explosives and if you lost a model it'd explode.
Also make all vehicles RC
oh god RC land raiders and shit would be awesome
and eldar vehicles and such on controllable magnet thingies I don't know how magnets work
Doesn't matter if the vehicles on the table are RC or not, they'll still be just sitting around for just about all of the tabletop match. :v:

They simply label itas Xeno, purify it and then knock the building down, thus solving the problem.
I've been reading that emperasque tale you guys mentioned earlier
it's pretty awesome.

So, Deathguard are truly the best Tarpit in 40k. Unless you have power weapons, but then, why are you even letting them in range?

You mean you wouldn't put criminals in giant suits of cardboard armor and make them shoot each other with Gyrojet rifles?

What do you mean by Tarpit?
To be honest, that'd be a fantastic base for gauntlets for a full size marine armour costume.
Late as fuck, but my step-brother actually did this once.
He was only about thirteen at the time. The costume made him six feet tall. And he was incapable of moving his arms.

Thats not full sized.
So after much thinking and throwing away many idea for armies, I have finally settled to make Glorious British Empire Imperial Guardsmen! I bought a couple of 28mm Victrix Napoleonic British stuff, and you get shit loads of spare parts for them. I'll be doing stuff like replacing sergeants' heads with Mutton-chopped, Bicorn capped heads, arms with Colour party officers arms, and I even have a few Regimental Standard decals, so I might make my own Standard bearer arms. I'll be trying to get as close to the Coldstream Guard Regiment as I can, as my Great Grandfather was one of them. I have little skill with converting so I will only be changing leader and special units, but I think it will look good, white armour over red fatigues.
Or it will look like an army of Santas.
What do you mean by Tarpit?
http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Tarpit
A Tarpit is a big blob of expendable infantry intended to be a giant pain in the ass and functionally a living wall designed to slow enemies down and keep foes tied up by either assaulting them or act as a wall of dakka
Plague Marines are toughness 5, so marines need 5s to wound them with S4 weapons, or in melee. Very few units in 40k that aren't elites or HQs are S5. They get a 3+ armour save, and if that fails they can roll Feel No Pain, unless the enemy are using power weapons or are firing AP1/2 weapons, if I roll a 4 or more, I live.
Case in Point, I managed to hold Ulfric the Slayer and his retinue in combat, all had power weapons, for 3 rounds before finally dying. My Plague Champion had a power weapon, he only needed 4+s to wound, and thus kill, while they needed 5+s to wound and kill.
