Just assembled my 4th Chaos Terminator. Really starting to like green stuff, helps with gaps more than I thought it would.
So apparently getting rid of mold lines before you assemble is a great idea while doing it afterwards is a horrible idea.
Why are your tac squads PW serg? Just keep them out of melee and SS is better on termis

I thought it was funny, until it was made by miniwargaming...
Seriously they should be able to make something that isn't terrible

Someone should edit the video so that when the daemon appears, the volume suddenly spikes up, to give it that special scare effect.
On a serious note, it is a disappointingly short video and I totally disliked how fellow cultist Dave had turned from the dark gods and made the chaos marines look like guardsmen. It reminds me of the Ultramarines movie.
Now, even more serious, would selling painted models on the internet be a good way to make some cash. I really need to get working and it seems doing paint comissions in my area (malaysia) would not generate income fast enough as there's a lack of demand for it, and doing commisions overseas would be costly and inconvenient.

Singapore does have a decent Warhammer scene, not that I actively participate anymore. But be prepared to deal with some pretty immature people if you wish.
I could see if I can help out, I know one guy who just spent SGD900(AUD682) in one go yesterday on Black Templars (He is 15 years old and I have no idea where he gets the money)

Its terrible money for the effort you have to put in to get a decent price for the models.
Will you be kind enough to post picture containing most/all of them when they are in that state?
Will do!
Am I right to assume that blending involves mixing one colour into another while it is still wet on the model? I haven't tried blending yet, so I'm afraid of doing the wrong thing. I'm okay at layering though, got a really nice black to light grey fade on the last model I tried it on.

Well, there's dry blending (also known as feathering, ) and wet blending, which involves similar shades on a model and blending them while the paint is still wet (with a clean brush) also helps if your paints are thinned slightly (though not neccesarily as much as if they were for layering)
Here's a couple of (albeit badly taken) pictures of when I practised wet blending with 3 shades.

Bought the galaxy in flames today.
Which would be better rulewise, A Daemon Prince without wings or a Greater Daemon?
Had an interesting match today with that Marine army, I got paired with a guy who had a nice looking Ork army. He had a 150 more points than me as he wrote a 1750 points list, (he took away 100 points) and at the time I couldn't be arsed to wait for him to change much more so I let him play with the extra points. The Sternguard did as expected and disorientated his Kans in the first turn with their meltas, wiping them out by turn 3, the Land Raider blew up the BW in the first turn, and at turn 3 the Vindicator blew a Warboss, 4 nobs and 2 boys to pieces with the demolisher cannon. His Deff Dread was immobilized and left stunned for 2 turns, so he never got anything out of it, and my Chaplain+Termie assault squad had a final stand against 10 gretchin, the Warboss, 6-7 nobs, and 15 boys, they managed to kill 10 boys and all the Gretchin but they were hit really hard by powerklaws and eventually all died. By turn 6 or 7 all that was left was my Sternguard, my 2 tactical squads, the Vindicator, his deffkoptas, a nob, 3 boys and Ghazkull Thraka.
Ghazghkul fucking Thraka.
This guy is insane. 4 wounds, toughness 5, 2+ invulnerable save, hits and wounds marines on 2's (*3 on hits, whoops :C) with 6 attacks on the charge, has eternal warrior, better waaaaaagh and a power klaw.
My Sternguard fired at him for 5-7 quick turns. My Tactical Marines scored no less than 40 wounds in close combat, and we forgot about his WS of 6 when receiving attacks so half of them would of failed. By the turn our time was up he had slaughtered 17 something Tactical Marines to the last man. And he only took 2 bad saves.
If we had ended the game at turn 5 or 6 I would of definitely won, but by the time we did finish it he came really close to winning, because the casulties were:
Chaplain
Termies
Land Raider (Ghazghkul.......)
Rhino
2 Tactical squads
And I had killed
20 Ork boys as a unit
10 Nobs as a unit
Warboss
Battlewagon
Deff Dread
Killa Kans
Gretchin
In short:
Meltas are awesome, Ghazghkull Thraka is almost invincible.
Cheers to Etcetera for the Drop Pod advice, swapped the Rhino with it and it did quite a lot to even out the game.

Uh, WS6 hits WS4 on 3s, WS4 hits WS6 on 4s. The to hit table is very different to the to wound table.

The thing to remember is that you don't hit an enemy on 5s unless their WS is more than double yours, and you never hit on 6s or 2s unless a special rule says so.

I'm not sure why I find official art from the Rogue Trader era so hilarious.
Because it's 80's science fiction to the max.
Space marine is like 20 dollars on ultimatum game keys.
Every time i look at an old Rogue Trader picture, random 80's speed metal plays in my head.

Thanks guys, that really helps.
I think I might try adding thin washes of black to each layer, get it a bit smoother, if wet-blending doesn't work.
I just got done watching Damnatus, I liked it
dat bullpup boltgun
Thats not a bullpup. For a bullpup the magazine would have to be behind the trigger.
A bullpup bolter would be pointless as it works nothing like conventional firearms where bullpup configuration is used.arrel.
Found an old Defiler that is broken (fucking movers :argh:) and missing some parts, and I'm currently going with an Ork army, so... Looted Defiler yes?
oh, fair point.

Only because the foregrip is behind the magazine, rather than in front where one expects it to be.

Yeah thats a Bullpup Combi-plas.
Still pointless to have it in a bullpup configuration.
