so they've just released the various pre order skins for dlc, figured i'd check the traitor legion pack out...
and the only picture is this...

WHAT COULD THIS MEAN!?
It means you'll be a good little ultramarine and paying for shit pre order people got free, to help the Imperium make more lascannons. It's wardtastic (tm)
I always found it funny how the chapters in the emperors elite pack don't use the codex astartes.
The black templars and space wolves. :v:

I don't really get how they are elite anyway. They're no better than a regular Space Marine.
Having never sold any in the past... Is half of retail price a good asking price?
How much is that, considering what you got? This is depending on my pocket money, really. I may pay you even more than your asking price depending if I'm not poor yet.
I don't really get how they are elite anyway. They're no better than a regular Space Marine.
Well, the Temp's are actually quite... Insane. The Wolves are mutants.
I'm magnetizing my entire predator tank right now so I can switch its weapons on the go or turn it into a rhino. Fuck yea.
Leave sponsoon weapons on and you can use it as a razorback too!
Chaos.
The more I think about this the more I want it to happen. First mission, you're in a trench facing down an Ork charge. Objective #1: Hold the Line. If you move from your assigned starting position you're instantly shot and charged with desertion (in that order) :v:
I seem to recall there being a joke about a 40k game where you start off having your command post overrun with xenos, and throughout the entire game you had to sneak/run from xenos and heretics to make it back to command so you could warn them of the impending threat. You used your lasgun more as a distraction than an actual weapon and it handled like a FPS/Survival Horror hybrid
Then, when you finally made it back to the rest of your regiment to warn them, the Commissar shoots you for abandoning your post.
Hahaha, I nearly choked; it's definitely a game I would play.
GW has stopped selling most of its metal range so now they've converted them into resin.
It's not resin, it's just plastic. It's not fancy stuff.
So they had metal models that were unique and when they stopped casting them in metal they made the plastic alternative?
Why do the molds look like absolute shit?
They are using the vulcanized rubber molds that they would pour the metal into, but now they are pouring shitty plastic into it.
I'm magnetizing my entire predator tank right now so I can switch its weapons on the go or turn it into a rhino. Fuck yea.
What do you mean, I always had a twin-linked las cannon on it, I swear!
Well, the Temp's are actually quite... Insane. The Wolves are mutants.
Both of them are based around large numbers of Space Marine on the field. In the Space Wolves case, a good portion of them are fairly untrained Blood-Claws.
I don't really get how they are elite anyway. They're no better than a regular Space Marine.
Historically, they are. I believe the Space Wolves have the only Astartes who was around during the Horus Heresy. Then again, Chaos have a lot more but fuck giving them better stats right?
GW has stopped selling most of its metal range so now they've converted them into resin.
Isn't there a huge profit margin that GW could be cutting the players some of?
So I was checking the black library and seeing if anything new was released. I go over to the ebook section and see this.

Fucking awesome.
Oh wow. Firewarrior.
I'd still prefer an actual book to an E-book though.
Isn't there a huge profit margin that GW could be cutting the players some of?
Now that they switched to plastic. Yes. Yes there is.

I agree, Cyc is a pretty damn good GM.
somehow he managed to salvage a plot after our tech priest used a grenade and accidentally destroyed out main objective (which was another inquisitors agent, also a psyker.)
Also he let me use wall run to run up a wall, jump on an unbound daemonhost and said "you can roll 3d10 for attack"
Thinking I would do about 15-25 damage.
After getting two tens in a row adding up to about 64 damage, he magically gave me a second pair of csi shades.
in our group, if a member Does something or says something significantly bad-ass they get "shaded" (as opposed to blooded) and are given a pair of glasses resembling csi shades. (thanks to Cyc)

Merci.
The plot was always going on in the background.
I thought you'd roll miserably and I could send the Daemonhost on his way, using his presence merely to introduce you to the fact that your enemies had a Daemonhost at their disposal. Then you accidently the plot.
The shades were a joke because someone made a pun, I remarked "You pull some shades out of your pocket" and now everyone has shades, it was unintended but hilarious.
I think everyone has given all their shades to him, not sure.
[editline]16th December 2011[/editline]
Though I have non-CSI shades.
how do you accidentally destroy an objective exactly? a terrible dice roll causes the grenade to land at the objective or something?
All you Tau guys out there, what do you think of this:

i.e. lovely
how do you accidentally destroy an objective exactly? a terrible dice roll causes the grenade to land at the objective or something?
The objective was an inquisitor agent held in the same room the techpriest was in. The room also had a bunch of hereteks. Techpriest decides dropping a frag and running is the best choice, blowing up our other techie and the objective and some of the hereteks.

Looks like it'd be a drone mech in Cortex Command. :v:

Reminds me of Starship troopers rather than something of the Tau.

Seriously how does no one here manage to recognize one of the greatest sci-fi anime in history, back in the days when anime was still worth watching.
