How about full-frontal-plot-armor Superman VS God Emprah. Horus Heresy Emprah.
[editline]19th December 2011[/editline]
For this battle we assume that they are both shitfaces as fuck, and the battle takes place on Terra, somewhere in Nevada.
I imagine that the Emperor would still unmake him.

What happens when two plot armours clash? Both plots dictate that neither dies, but if there is a battle to the death it means the plot also says one of them will die.
[editline]19th December 2011[/editline]
Anyway the problem with all these matchups is that none of the other characters have experienced the Warp or are prepared to fight it, meaning a very open, undefended mind and soul going against an absurdly powerful psyker (not to mention that without defences you'd fall to Daemons easily, though willpower alone could probably shield from lesser ones, a Greater Daemon is another story).
Comparing different universes doesn't work in general, because we can't know how, for example, a Marvel universe God would react to a Warp God (nothing special and end up fighting each-other "normally"? Or would the Marvel God be corrupted since they do not have any innate warp affinity or resistance?).

The Emprah. Even if Superman is only vulnerable to Kryptonite, the Emprah would just block all his blows until sand erosion reveals some Kryptonite, which he will then beat the fuck out of Superman with.
Considering how the Emperor can obliterate a soul (that is fully backed by the Chaos gods, mind you) even when on the edge of death, I'd say The Emperor (also we have no idea how powerful the Emperor really is).
If an Alpha+ Psyker can rip a titan in half with ease, I'd say the Emperor could do the same to a planet, if not a star (again, since his power varies wildly from time to time, going from enslaving a star-eating God to for some reason not simply frying the invasion of Terra, we can't know).
I think it's safe to say that in a universe with no Warp there are no souls that can be affected by warpfuckery. Frieza in DBZ had a powerlevel of 530,000 when he destroyed a planet (with ease), by the end of the anime Goku's is around 450 million. I'm no dragon ball fan but that universe is retardedly powerful at times.
I remember reading an idea that Tech priests not only speak in binary but in a bastardized form of 1337speak. (if you an imagine such a thing) which means despite the inquisitions best efforts they cannot come up with a lexicon. If they did translate the raw binary all they would get is an incoherent sequence of numbers and symbols.

It's funny how much data you can store in a sound file. That's how dial tone works. you know each number makes a specific noise? That noise is a code the main phone interlink transfer facility doohicky can identify.
And it does remind me of Amnesia or silent hill.

Everyone knows that the Imperium is the good guys.
You Xenos lover.
Yesterday had my monthly LGS 40k meetup. Was fun, tried out my new 2000pt blood angels army. It did well against eldar, giving me 1925 victory points for the tourney. Didn't do so well against mechanized IG, as I got a total of zero VPs from that battle.
Who would win in a fight, Goku or the God Emperor?
If both were at their tip-top shapes then the Emperor would win.
Goku's weaker than Superman and even he would *most likely* lose.

I think his powers depends directly on how many of those truly are worshiping him, like how Chaos feeds off of sentience.

Funny thing about Kyptonite, the stuff exists. It's one of the Noble Gases so it's just some glowing GAS, not a rock. It's completely unreactive.

There’s no way to accurately convert Superman’s rating to that of the DBZ universe, here’s how broke I down for you. The average human in DBZ has a power level of 5. Said average person can lift their own body weight, with the average human being weighing about 175lbs, or about 80kg. (These are real world statistics now). So a simple demonstration of strength, lifting 80kg, gives a human a power level of 5. Now we have something we can work with. In All-Star Superman our hero puts himself through a series of tests to see if he is in fact dying. One of these shows him lifting the equivalent of 200 quintillion tonnes – brace yourself for a lot of 0s.
That’s 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000kg. I’m not going to show you the math, there’s simply not enough room – but after some division and multiplication involving the above facts about power levels and average human beings, you end up with a number that looks a lot like this: 12,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. A nice number, if you were to say it aloud it would be ‘Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Quintillion’ This dwarfs Goku.

An alpha+ psyker can more or less mentally shackle an entire planet on a whim (depends on the alpha+ psyker obviously).
The emperor is vastly more powerful than any alpha plus level psyker in existance.
On top of that, superman doesn't seem to be all that decent against mental attacks, merely physical.
Same goes for any power level discussion. Superman will most likely always have more physical power than say the emperor. But he doesn't have much more mental power than an above average human.

Well if you're going to get picky with Superman, you may as well say that the fight would never happen and that it's silly to think about it. We're talking the genuine article here, about a man who can be defeated only with a glowing green rock that just happens to be called Kryptonite.

So guys, who would win The Emperor of Mankind or Chu*BLAM*
Carry on citizen, we have disposed of the filthy heretic behind the personal comunication terminal.

Retribution, but I since I own the other games it was the only one updating. Someone might know more.

So why are there no patch notes? I'm curious if something was rebalanced or bugs were fixed.

Ha, Tyranids received a buff.
IG seem to get nerfed, hard. Whenether it's a good thing or not, it's nice to see balance patches, no matter what.
As long as Sentinels can no longer wreck my entire army with "Can you feel that? YES YOU DO"
To whoever requested it, http://memegenerator.net/Advice-Guardsman

IG is still as good to play as before for me, i never actually used the Lord General's sniper rifle/refractor field or Ogryns.
Stormtrooper leader now using a meltagun is good, but the fact that they lowered the stormtrooper meltagun damage is lame, same goes for rocket run, but rocket run was a tad too OP.
Space Marines recieved equal nerfs and buffs, but the Apothecary is almost a useless hero now that his heal ability doesn't regenerate more health after having healed.
Overall, i think this patch sucked, Chaos are still OP as ever, even though i play them most of the time, i think they should really nerf them, especially the plague champion and his global abilities.
i was showing a friend of mine a PS3 game called valkyria chronicles
(a half way decent JRPG with guns and tanks and shit set during one of the world wars)
he's a huge Warhammer fan and said that the gameplay in that game would be perfect for warhammer games (i have no idea if it would or not, you would have to go look yourselves) but i thought i would tell him what the other people say should they have knowledge about that game.
what say you?

Tyranids are still OP as well. In fact they buffed us again. The dev's must have a hard on for 'em (which is understandable, such sexy beasts).
Since you guys were so helpful before, is there really any defensive race in Warhammer, because that's more or less my playing style.
Since you guys were so helpful before, is there really any defensive race in Warhammer, because that's more or less my playing style.
Not per say, many armies can be defensive in that they can sit on an objective and dare the enemy to try and wrestle it from them. How would you have your men be defensive? Masses of Firepower, that nothing may get within assaulting distance of you? Tough enough to drag anything that gets into combat with you, down with you?
