Cold War Assault is the exact same game as the original Operation Flashpoint. You can even patch the original game with CWA's patches. It changed name due to Codemasters owning the "Operation Flashpoint" name but Bohemia Interactive being the main developer from the game and owning the content. It's even mod-compatible with the original OFP.
ARMA X is just a pack with all the ARMA games and the re-branded original Operation Flashpoint.
In addition, if you want ARMA gold edition but dont want the pack, just get it off of GOG for much cheaper.

Oh god yes.
Finally they're starting to make this game what it should have been when it came out.
Why do I have the Iron Fists DLC in Retribution?
AWWW YEAH, A MIGHTY DREADNOUGHT! At last, back to work!
Why do I have the Iron Fists DLC in Retribution?
You mean Imperial Fists?
You mean Imperial Fists?
I would totally pay to play as Iron Fists in a 40K game. They're so badass their own skin can't hold it in.
Soooo I am so surprised that THQ is supporting spehss mehrine so well...
I assumed it would be dropped so fast

I'm not, THQ have long supported their 40k games and I'm bloody grateful for it.

We're not meant to get anything in the way of a sequel (despite the cliffhanger ending) until around 2013, so I guess they feel obligated to not leave us in the dust on this. Which is pretty cool of them, thinking about it.
Though I still feel pissed at them that the Legion of the Damned armor doesn't use the Beakie pattern. Now it just looks silly.
Just think guys. Dreadnoughts. 9.99

Think about the librarian chaplains man.
To be honest the Beakie in Space Marine looks like absoloute shite.
JThink about the librarian chaplains man.
That'd be all well and good if you could use the helmet on its own, but you can't. A Chaplain helmet is a very specialized tool of fear - if not used correctly, it can fall flat.
To be honest the Beakie in Space Marine looks like absoloute shite.
But it could have been improved by a skull jutting out of it.
It could have been improved by being a fucking Beaky, seriously, one of the most iconic Space marine parts ever, and they do it wrong.
Relic has been an asshole with prices for the past decade. They're one of the worst offenders when it comes to overpriced DLC.
Good luck on that.
1. the entire dlc list was on sale for 7.99 a month ago.
2. THQ sets the price, not relic.

They could add librarians, and instead of secondary weapon, some psychic power.
To be honest the Beakie in Space Marine looks like absoloute shite.
I think the only reason it looks shit is because of clipping(?)

So, something like World in Conflict exept with Sphess Mehreens/Orks/Eldar/Chaos Mehreens instead of US/NATO/USSR? :v:

I love this so much
Just got Space Marine yesterday from a trade, and I am loving it.
I never really got into Warhammer too much, but now I think I am going to have to get into it more, I've been meaning to find myself a good rts.
So, something like World in Conflict exept with Sphess Mehreens/Orks/Eldar/Chaos Mehreens instead of US/NATO/USSR? :v:
More like Imperium of Man/Orks/Eldar/Heretics. Mahreens could stay out of spotlight for atleast one game or take role of reinforcements/minor faction inside one side.
I wish I had the money to get Space Marine and all the DLC for it, however my only problem is the $2.99 just for armour sets. I find that a bit too much.
someone level my mekboy and lord general in dow2 because i keep getting terrible teammates
Last Stand mode fyi
You mean Imperial Fists?
I can't imagine why I put Iron instead of Imperial but yeah I have DLC that I've not bought because I thought the army packs were a bit of a rip off.
Oh I see everyone has it well whatever.
someone level my mekboy and lord general in dow2 because i keep getting terrible teammates

I found those classes easy to level, LG is my first and only thus far, level 20. I used the Shotgun and Catachans primarily, with the Tarantula Turret. Never use any other turret, they're all shite.
For the Mekboy, I'm not playing him seriously, so I run around with the Tellyporta armour, the Zzap Knife and the item that makes things explode when they teleport. It's great fun being hit by a Carnifex and having it teleport to the other side of the arena before exploding. And when you got mobbed, shit starts flying everywhere.
