I have a rogue trader game tomorrow, first time dming it.
My plan so far is to start them of as they are walking towards the ship they just bought, a tiny tiny spaceship with crew of around 70 at most. As they go to space they learn more about their last ship from the crew, and sometime after that they get pulled over by ork pirates. After which they must go and find some loot, complete a task for the pirates or figure out a way to fuck the pirates over.
One of the locations I have planned is an imperial battleship crashed into an eldar craftworld crashed into an asteroid hollowed out by years of slave labour and it all turned into a crackden for all the races.
Center of it is a large bar called "post vitae" where there are strippers for humanoids, fight cages for orkz and various members of many renegade, mercenary or deserters for all races under a cease-fire.
I just hope I can pull it off.
I can only hope they are introducing a wide scale battle gamemode with dreadnaughts and the what nots.
Still not played the game, but I'm guessing that the differences between Chaos and Loyalist are purely cosmetic yes? If that's the case, why were they not present already for Exterminatus, and there better be a crazy Chaos Dreadnought.
Because Chaos Marines always look cooler.
I found those classes easy to level, LG is my first and only thus far, level 20. I used the Shotgun and Catachans primarily, with the Tarantula Turret. Never use any other turret, they're all shite.
For the Mekboy, I'm not playing him seriously, so I run around with the Tellyporta armour, the Zzap Knife and the item that makes things explode when they teleport. It's great fun being hit by a Carnifex and having it teleport to the other side of the arena before exploding. And when you got mobbed, shit starts flying everywhere.
uhh they may be easy to level but it takes forever when you barely get anywhere cause of the team???
uhh they may be easy to level but it takes forever when you barely get anywhere cause of the team???
True I guess, when I get back to Uni on the 6th, I'll play a few games with you, see what we can do.

Do you see them spikes? Do you see that simmering rage? Do you see that big hammer? This guy will wreck you. He's not even a Daemon Prince in this picture, this is when he was a pansy loyalist dog. How much stronger do you think he is now? A lot.

here's my veteran dreadie converted from AOBR dreadie.
I am stuck at what to paint the hives with, I'm thinking mouse grey(which is brownish bleached bone) along with some yellow/green/red veins.

Too bad an Ultramarine Captain and a 1 armed Seargent with a handful of renegades and 2 guardsmen ruined one of his fortresses.

Nurgle Bro!
Drybrushing them with the grey sounds like a good idea, if you have it, apply a wash of Badab Brown to the entire model, then highlight the veins so they're not stained brown as well.

*Half-Blood Honsous fortress
Perturabo has been consigned, alongside every Primarch, to the backseat where they're described as "Brooding" and "Scheming", or in many loyalist cases "Dead" or "Missing".
only have devlan mud.
and I don't play nurgle despite heavily favoring him, my army is a mix, and has even skittle raptors in it.
But that dreadie is around halfway done, still needs alot of rust and other weathering effects.

Still you'd expect him to just be like "Well I'm bored and have nothing better to do let's play a game of see how high I can get my fortress to get" then just closes his eyes and throws an Iron Warrior at it, says their leader and waits to see how long it is until it gets blown up.
Or at least that's what I'd do if I were a demi-god with my own world anyway.

BatMarines.
They're not even Heretics, they tend to not use Chaos in their working. And they're still cooler than Bloodclaw Hrothgar, king of Fuzzy Duck and Reigning Champion at Ring of Fire.

That was the Emperor. But Leman challenged the Emperor to 3 challenges. An eating one, a drinking one and a fighting one. Leman won the first two. Emperor won the last one.

Well, I can't find any info about that.

Nope, Emperor punched Russ out.
Got Fulgrim, Legion and Descent of Angels for christmas (Flight of the Eisenstein too, but seeing as I already have it, I gave it to my brother).
I wont be able to write anything for my own fiction for a week or two.
I just went to Barnes & Noble with some friends and I found a MASSIVE W40k section. It takes up several entire shelves.
The first thing that caught me eye "Blood Ravens"
I'm going relic huntin' tonight, boys.
you mean "gift hunting" right?
you mean "gift hunting" right?
Given the Blood Ravens is done by C.S Goto, it counts as coal rather than a gift.
I'm so ready for tomorrow, <cockney>gunna make things right orky with my horde off boyz</cockney>
