Any that you like the look of is your best bet, also maybe colours you like, though I'd suggest avoiding any that have Red, Yellow or white as a majority of their colour, as even with foundation paints they're some of the hardest colours to paint on a model.

What should I put on my Assault Marine Sergeant? Storm Shield and Power Fist or Power Sword or Plasma Pistol and a Power weapon? And which power weapon?
Depends entirely on what enemy you'll be facing really. If you're gonna be facing a lot of shooting, a Storm Shield can come in handy. If you want to REALLY hit hard though, get a 5 man terminator squad, load them all with Lightning Claws and have a Chaplain in Terminator Armor as your HQ and have hm join that squad, you get to reroll missed hits for everyone and get to reroll failed wounds for the Lightning Claw guys. 3 Attacks each for the marines without being ont he charge, 4 if you did charge (17 attacks without the charge, 23 attacks on the charge, and since they are power weapons, they let the enemy have zero armour saves.

I play a DIY chapter. I think it adds a lot of personality to your marines.
Is the helm used on Multiplayer and Last Stand or just campaign?
He has it in armypainter, so I'd assume all modes

It's used in Multiplayer.
But sadly, it doesn't affect The Last Stand.
That's kind of dumb, imo.
I redeemed the helmet but sadly it's not showing up, im going to restart steam and let it sit and hope it fixes.
Also I've been having a major problem with ret lately, during multiplayer the screen was randomly flash black and stay there for varying ammounts of time.
Recently it has been staying like that for at least 30 seconds. It happening more often and is screwing me off. Are there any fixes? I've searched a bit but nothing I didn't try

You have to use the specific color scheme, Blood Ravens, Veterans of Aestas

Citadel paints are actually pretty decent. If you use some old crap that was lying around, that's what you'll end up with, some old crap.
Orks are pretty forgiving, have good variations for colours etc etc, and can allow you to drybrush quite well.
Here's one Ork I did a while back but never finished.
