You need to mask your IP via VPN so it appears you're in Russia. It's a ten-minute job, there's a link to a youtube video on the game's page. If you need help you can add me on Steam.
So, I'm taking opinions on a transport/squad. I recently purchased a Stormraven Gunship, and intend to outfit it with a Typhoon Missile Launcher, Twin linked Las Cannons and the sponsons.
As for the squad inside of it, I was thinking of something like
1x Kaldor Drogo
1x Apothecary w/ Warding Staff
2x Paladins w/ Daemonhammer
2x Paladins w/ Psycannon
But I'm open to suggestions. Am I putting too many points in one basket, or is this an appropriate striking wedge?
It isn't really a striking wedge, but you've got yourself a massive tarpit in there, both the Paladins and Kaldor Draigo have good armor saves + wounds, but remove the Apothecary, because you'll be losing an extra attack (due to having to use apothecary gear on one hand instead of a storm bolter/psycannon) and neither Feel No Pain or a Warding Staff isn't that good for Paladins.
I don't like them from an asthetic stand point. I rather get like Space Marines and convert them to the Greater Good. Or make some Gue'vasa with an Imperial Guard kit.
Oh also I finished my Hello Kitty suit with the exception of the other drone which is hardly a big deal.

They're really good against Space Marines in tabletop and they look decent, in my opinion.

Paladins: I really, really, really, really don't want to do this unit. Really. Since they generate more rage than the Purifiers. But, when that's the case, you really can't go through a Codex and not look at a unit like that.
Basically, everything's different, depending on how many you have, whether you need to points shave and whether they're Scoring (Draigo!) or not, because being Scoring does effect how many you - should - have and that determines Wargear and...Ugh. I don't want to do this. There's a lot of debate on what the 'perfect' Paladin unit is, and I don't really believe there is one, unless you pay 700 points or so for it. And if you ask me, 10 models that cost 700+ points is far from perfect.
So, for 15 points more than a Scoring Terminator, you get an extra wound, WS5 and Holocaust. Holocaust isn't worth much but the extra wound is. The extra point of WS depends on your opponent - but it's usually good.
Apothecary; Not worth it. And worth it at the same time. In a small squad, the Apothecary - upgrade alone - is worth a whole 'nother model and wargear to go with it. In a large unit, in a large point game, a 10-model Terminator unit with two wounds each and FNP is almost unkillable. You only lose a Storm Bolter for it.
While we're on the subject; STAY IN COVER. Your opponent can and will target everything S8+ weapon he owns at Paladins. And then probably some small-arms fire to boot. Paladins are expensive and I believe the most expensive unit in the game if you actually want them to do something for their cost, which means minimum 5-man unit, which means the unit costs a minimum of ~300 points for only five models. Wow.
Incinerator; Small, brick, elite units with bad Invulnerables don't usually want to get that close to enemies that an Incinerator is good against. A large unit of 10 might want one Incinerator for utility.
Psycannon; Best weapon in the 'dex up-post, best weapon in the 'dex now. Always take Psycannons if you can. Unlike Purifiers you're paying double the points (and double the points per model), you're still getting two Psycannons for cheaper than a Grand Master gets one.
Is BS6 really that impressive?
It should be noted, that unlike Purifiers, Paladins can swap their Storm Bolters and Swords independently of each other. So you can have a Psycannon model wielding a Sword, too. So you don't lose any attacks. Neat, eh?
Halberds and Hammers; By now I hope you know what these do. Both are free. However, you do have a natural Invulnerable, and you're an extremely expensive squad so you want the Invulnerables to actually save you once in a while. One Hammer per five models is generally enough. But the ratio of Halberds to Swords should be 1:1 almost. If in doubt, more Halberds, but don't overdo it.
Falchions; I'm really not a fan. Not when Hammers and Halberds are free and you have two attacks each, anyway. Generally, the only reason you'd take Falchions is for Wound Allocation, which only really counts in the large squads.
Stave; Some models are worth saving. Some people like to have a Stave on the guy with a Psycannon (that one model is 95 points now) so that the Psycannon guy can't die, and some people like to have it on a 'normal' guy so if the 2+ fails (and your opponent - and Tzeentch - is laughing) you don't lose anything good.
Although the model with the Psycannon may as well keep his sword, right?
Brotherhood Banner; You're trading out your Sword for this, remember. So, in a minimum squad (5 models), you're paying 25 Points and two attacks, for four attacks. Or, you're paying 25 points for +2 Attacks. You can also now activate your Force Weapons for free. Not really worth it in a small squad. Large squad? Absolutely.
Psybolt Ammunition; Same with everything, the points cost doesn't scale, so it gets better the more models you have.
Master-Crafting; The Psycannons. The Hammers. Maybe the Halberds. Depending on points. Otherwise the only time you should Master-Craft (or not) is for Wound Allocation.
...Well that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Keep calm and keep typing.

It pretty much covers all your questions.
Out of all the armies in WH40k I must say I do not see many Sisters of Battle. Do they suck in-game or does no one enjoy painting/crafting them?

Well, their current codex is a WD codex, Grey Knights have stolen half their special characters, and they're pretty underpowered at the moment. Add to that metal troops choices and it's not too surprising they're under-represented.
They were outdated.

Wait, is he saying that a psycannon costs 10 points for purifiers, not 20?

Yes. Is he wrong?
Yes. Is he wrong?
I don't think he's wrong, but in that case, my 470 point GK army list is now 430 points, mainly because of the psycannon cost.

still a wip. but added rust, ALSO updated to add exausht fume marks and such. Too bad I can't finish it due to not having any fixative.

I don't like them asthetically either. I'm kind of a Tau purist. I think that the Tau should more or less stand on their own but their army is severely lacking until you use Forge World models and not everywhere let's you play with them.
I think Tau Marines and Gue'vasa are okay because they're not ugly xenos.

Well, Tau probably is going to get a bunch more models in spring, since the next Tau Codex is rumoured to be out in Q1 2012.
Or then it's going to be mostly more kroot and mercs. Whatever's the case, Tau's gonna get some new stuff.

Expensive as fuck, £10 for 3basic troop models, others being nearly £8 for individual models, old outdated codex, and tabletop wise only mediocre, so not really worth investing the fortune into them.
I just got a free Doomrider model at the LGS I go to. It apparently was there for two years.

Bag full of different kinds of Titans and atomic bombs
"Hmm, next five gifts to Abaddon..."
Well I just made a Chaos Lord out of random bitz I had, along with a pack of CSM I bought today.
Equipped with wings and a Daemon sword. The Tzeentch one of course, Deathscreamer. I used one of my finecast bitz for the flame.
Going to paint him tomorrow. Will post pictures when done.

Pity that due to the nmm effects and the way the damage is painted on, it'll only look that spectacular from one angle.
I want one of those for kay-os
Just got a Tau starter set.

However the big sword really doesn't fit, in my opinion, too comic-y.
