Trying to get online in the older games is really annoying.
Not neccesarily. Warcraft III is still kicking, same goes for SupCom I. They are somewhat old and one has newer game in the series but players sticked to them.
SPESS MEHREENS
Can I field a chicken nugget?
I wish you could solo The Last Stand, would be handy when you can't find a game, plus it'd be challenging.
Death Adders. Make them all carry hugeass axes. (+15 points per figure of free upgrades for getting the reference.)
You forgot the equal sign.
Trying to get online in the older games is really annoying.
You still see like 60 people playing Dark Crusade at times, it's not that hard to find a game.
Finaly got Veteran Victor, i'm done with CR multiplayer. Now i just need Last stand and the FFA achievement.
You still see like 60 people playing Dark Crusade at times, it's not that hard to find a game.
I can't log into the multiplayer lobby, is it still around? Me and a friend usually just do direct connect
Can I field a chicken nugget?
Call it a Chaos Greater Daemon of Nurgle, there you go. [editline]9th July 2011[/editline] Give it a special rule so that it constantly emits an aura that makes people want to eat it. If they do, they have to roll a D6 to see how many hundreds of pounds they gain in weight.
Can I field a chicken nugget?
Counts as Warlord Titan.
I wish you could solo The Last Stand, would be handy when you can't find a game, plus it'd be challenging.
You can, actually. You just need to ask 2 people to come with you and leave once the game start. [editline]9th July 2011[/editline]
Call it a Chaos Greater Daemon of Nurgle, there you go.
You can, actually. You just need to ask 2 people to come with you and leave once the game start. [editline]9th July 2011[/editline]
That'd kinda defeat the point.
You still see like 60 people playing Dark Crusade at times, it's not that hard to find a game.
How does that work btw ? If I have all games, all cross-registered (you know ,the code for unlocking race) can I see people playing Dark Crusade if I run for example Soul Storm ?
I rather have that players are able to join TLS when someone drops, or replace it by a AI.
How does that work btw ? If I have all games, all cross-registered (you know ,the code for unlocking race) can I see people playing Dark Crusade if I run for example Soul Storm ?
I think so.
I was trying the Mek super bombing setup yesterday. The most fun you'll have on TLS, and it's OP.
I am trying to figure which game I played at my friends house a long time ago. It was definately dawn of war something. It cant have been after 2009 so It cant be dawn of war 2. Must have been dawn of war 1. All I remember is that I liked playing necrons, some people had special powers. It often left a lot of blood on the floor. At the main menu there was someone standing there and you could customise your troops colours at the main menu. Any idea which Dawn of war it was? Are they all like this? Thanks
Either Dark Crusade or Soulstorm.

Ok Im pretty sure it was dark crusade. Im gonna have a look at getting it. Nostalgia here I come. Yeah definately dark crusade. Thanks.
Im getting this purple out of video memory error in retribution, anyone know how to fix that? as far as I can tell theres nothing wrong with my machine at present. Also, in the Chaos campaign having Kain with the no setup time ability and leaving without him completely destroys any reason behind fielding standard marines,so fielding whilst fielding two havocs, add in plague marines and Heretics with the Khorne buff and defense is really easy. Tried this on the Ork Convoy mission, did 100x better than when I tried it as I.G.

Also, regarding that purple video memory problem, do you usually lag a lot before the error shows?
I was in a 40k team tourney today. First round we were wiped out by guard and space marines Hydras and Baal predators are bitches. Then we fought a pair of dark eldar, it's like I blow up all their shit, break every squad, and every unit is still eating 14+ Dark lances. Then in the third round we fight Chaos and Chaos and finally get a win.

Hey, I just got my stuff shipped Any tips before I start painting? I know that it's better to paint the parts before assembling, but won't that make it a bit hard to do shading/highlights?
whats the general warcry of dark eldar? ie space marines is for the emprah
whats the general warcry of dark eldar? ie space marines is for the emprah
The Dark Eldar are far less united than the Imperium, so each Kabal has it's own war cry if any at all
How did the Dark Eldar manage to win if you were supposedly blowing up all their shit and breaking every squad?
Not even sure, All their models look the same when their un-painted. They had three warrior squads bunched up in a tree line and I couldn't figure out if I killed them all or not.

Also, use a brush to put a blob of paint on top of paint pots, then mix in water and you have a really nice solution which rarely leaves gaps in the paint. Also, do a black coat first. Don't paint the parts before assembling unless its either a heavy weapons man/team, a vehicle, or a complex model that would be hard to paint otherwise. Finally, which race did you order? if its Orks or Space Marines I can give a few more tips.
Are there Chaos IG regiments? I want to make one, and want to keep it fluffy.
