Dont the other races get some kind of titans too?

Well let's see.
Chaos have Greater Daemons, Necrons have their C'tan gods, though i don't know about Tau, perhaps the Greater Knarloc could sort of count as their titan?

They get pylons as their "anti-Superheavy/titan"

Tau don't have enough resources to field a titan, and never have. Tau are a tactical threat, not a strategic one.
no
titans just don't fit into their tactical doctrine
no
They're fucking tiny, and if any of the other powers that be wanted to be rid of them they would be gone in weeks without the use of titans.

well, they do have that Manta supergigantic transport that cost around 900 UK monis
you're changing the subject sonny
tau don't use titans because they don't need titans
they already have mobile, titan-level support via manta

Orks ain't too hard to paint. Just make liberal use of dry brushing.

tell me, what happens when this

goes up against this

I'll tell you what happens.
The Tau lose.
They're just too small and too inexperienced. A single Hive Tendril would cripple their entire empire, if not destroy it outright due to their inability to respond.
you can paint your orks by dipping them into a bucket of red paint
Also any tips when painting human faces, whenever I do it, it always looks like their faces are melting
Also any tips when painting human faces, whenever I do it, it always looks like their faces are melting
Tallarn Flesh, Devaln mud (or gryphonne sepia or Ogryn Flesh, depending on how you want it to be shaded) then drybrush of tallarn flesh, fairly simple and effective, though you can take it to an extreme measure.

Well, they could always load these mantas with plasma fusion bombs and drive them right into the enemy's face.
Oh yeah but Tau are faggots and they cant do cool shit like that

That comparison is stupid. A Manta is more like an equivelant to a Warhound/Warlord. They have a different purpose to Titans. A Manta is not what they would use to fight Titans.
What you have done is like comparing a Chimera to a Baneblade.
Fanboys, fanboys everywhere
How about you all just shut up and let everyone like what they want?

Actually you guys might be able to help. I'm going to play the original DoW again but I want to now if there is away to turn off Fullscreen....or maybe get it to run well on 1440x900.

Sorry to be a bit of a noob but how do you dry brush?
get a bit of paint on your brush, wipe off nearly all of it on a tissue or something, then lightly brush over the area so that the paint catches on the raised edges.
Another form of painting faces, similar to Rayven's method, is base with Tallarn Flesh, wash with Ogryn Flesh, then a 1/1 mix of Skull White and Tallarn Flesh, applied to the raised ares with a fine detail brush. It's a good method if you aren't confident with drybrushing yet, and don't want to mess the face up too bad.
I have decided to stop playing and instead just model and read up fluff. I simply do not have funds to do so or the time to invest in making my models codex-compliant. And instead want to have fun painting my miniatures how I like them. I will still make them as compliant as possible
This is coupled with the fact that the people at the local store are dicks. I had bought both Grey Knight and Space Marine Terminators when the guy looked at me and said, "Fucking casuals", I was browsing through what I should get and had chosen to get both a Dreadnought and Cadian Imperial Guardsmen with Kaldor Draigo (His shield is cool) just to mod him into Hector Rex (Not yet done so), when the guy behind me said, "Dude, you suck, Grey Knights are Gay Knights"
I suspect they are giving me a hard time as theirs is a tight-knit community and coupled with my age (15) feel a sense of resentment towards a new-comer.
So, I am quitting the gaming aspect of Table-top and will instead paint my models as best as I can.
My question, is this a good idea?
Oh yeah, Firestorm over Kronus is really fun :v:
