I thought only inquisition could do exterminatus.
Inquisition authorizes it. Chapter fleets do the deed.
:ninja:
in fact battlebarges get a substantial bonus to exterminatus rolls in BFG compared to navy ships
A space fleet game like Homeworld would be awesome if it was made using Warhammer 40k fleets. Imagine the scale...

Don't make it an RTS have it be like you're a Navy pilot that way you can have these giant ships whilst you're in your little fighter, though they don't seem to have the longest of all life expectancies.
I'm guessing they turned into skeletons after bathing in that cursed river in their homeland?
Not entirely, they mostly turned into Skeletons because Nagash killed them all, then reanimated them.
And the Emperors Nightmare homebrew /tg/ chapter suffer from insomnia.

You'd get swathed by PD turrets in moments :~ Would be more interesting maybe if you were flying an escort class vessel, though even that would probably be suicidal.
Also keep in mind that a space ship in BFG would be a bit problematic since the vehicles behave like in a space and not air.

It was an official chapetr. They had a pretty simple battle-cry I remember.
Ah, I don't know of them then, sorry.

Freespace 40k would be fun.
for all of five seconds because even your 747-sized strike fighter would be swarmed by lasers and killed in a couple of milliseconds
So i went in Waterstones today just to have a look, noticed they had quite a few of the Horus Heresy books. I think these all came out after i quit W40K, but have heard of them. Are they worth reading? And what order are they in?
I've read the first few, in this order;
Horus Rising
False Gods
Galaxy in Flames
Flight of the Eisenstein
Fulgrim.
I asked this in the other thread, but I already forgot:
1. What can I use to remove paint from plastic miniatures without damaging the plastic, and
2. What can I use to remove paint AND glue, without damaging the plastic?

Now I'm not expert but the tiniest drop of water seems to fuck over any painting or glueing work I've ever done on anything ever so I suggest warm water.

Wow..i didn't see any of those except Horus Rising. There must be more then i thought.

Well I've put a model in a bowl with warm water, I'll see what happens.
I'm looking through these boxes and I'm thinking to myself, "What madman would do these things?".
There's a kroot that's completely green and looks like it was attacked by clippers.
There are multi-colored spacemarines with tyranid parts on them.
I have so much work to do in salvaging these bastards.

Horus Rising
False Gods
Galaxy in Flames
Flight of the Eisenstein
Fulgrim
Descent of Angels
Legion
Battle for the Abyss
Tales of Heresy
Mechanicum
Fallen Angels
A Thousand Sons
Nemesis
The First Heretic
Prospero Burns
Age of Darkness
[editline]6th June 2011[/editline]
Plus audiobooks and special edition hardcovers.
I hope Dawn of War 3's campaign will allow us to act out the Great Crusade or the Horus Heresy as either traitors or loyalists.

turpentine
can't promise that it won't damage the plastic.
If you don't want to use turpentine, try out some acetone or ethyl acetate.

Oh wow....that would cost alot to buy them all...
$50 to buy the special edition Salamanders hardcover alone
Worth them all, absolutely with no regrets
I'd like to buy and read at least some of them, but it's literally impossible to get any of them here.
The only one I've an interest in is Legion as I've a huge hardon for the Alpha Legion. Night Lords are P. Cool as well.
Also, I hope DoW III has a more Total War feel to it with a campaign map with plenty of areas to take that allow you to play a long game.
DoW 3 should have space and land combat like Empire at War but with unshitty ground combat.

A mix of DoW, CoH and Homeworld would be awesome.

What country do you live in? What yiou can use depends on what country you are in, also, is it superglue you're trying to remove or plastic glue?

Bolded the only ones worth reading. Deleted ones I haven't read (3 in total)

Soul Hunter and Throne of Lies are both fucking awesome, and I say that as someone who has no real interes in Chaos Marines

I thought that's what the flags were for, . And it's plastic glue, which I assume tends to melt the plastic together. Would a hot crafting knife give a clean cut?
Apparently it bonds the plastic together on the molecular level.
or something
What're Soul Hunter and Throne of Lies about? I'm guessing one's about the Word Bearers?
They're Night Lords books. Soul Hunter is a hardcopy and Throne of Lies is an audiobook.
