And "Land" in Land Speeder and Land Raider refers to the finder of the STC blueprints?
And how is it that Lexicannum states that Rogal Dorn was found on Terra?
Who is Sanguinor?
And worshippers of the the Imperial Cult follow a book of a Traitor Primarch (Lorgar)?
Yes, Arkhan Land was the guy.
It doesn't?
Azkaellon or a Psychic Construct
Yes, although it was written before he turned traitor (and still, technically against the ideals of the Emperor at the time)
Doing another battle at the moment, we decided that the Space Marines have to get a SOB Cannoness across the table in a convoy. Ive been winning so far as Im allowed to place "hidden units" before the game starts, and they have been really helpful so far.
Will post a report when we are done.
Wargame: European Escalation (uses RUSE's Iriszoom engine) is going to allow for modding. So a 40K mod for it? Possible.
I know that. And it will also allow "Realistic damage models" So that's nice.

That planet better be crawling with the Adeptus Mechanicus.
And If it wants to be true to fluffy expectations the device is actually ancient as all hell.

That was awesome.
Another plus, Captain Titus isn't bald.

My thoughts exactly when I heard: "They're after the experimental device."
Does all of that really matter?
I mean, why do you think that FoK shouldn't be played on multiplayer?
It isn't remotely balanced, and it isn't even TT balanced. HorusHeretic sticking in his favorite TT units doesn't make it tabletop, now magnify those imbalances on a building paradigm that allows 10X the number of units on field. FoK can't be played "competitively" even in someone were inclined to do so. (and the reason they aren't is because the imbalances are patently obvious and rather slanted)
Most of the people crusading for "OMGSOHYUCHE" are the same type of people who in foresight want the Viper, even though they sure as hell don't know how to drive it (here's a hint, it ain't automatic), can't afford the insurance, let alone the 17 grand in six month maintenance costs that you need to drive 1000 miles away for; "omg if that hot chick was my gf", yeah cause you can handle her absurdly expensive tastes, the fact she's completely codependent, and has been catered to hand and foot her entire life, and is only going to put out when she feels like it.
I honestly hope that DoW3 is epic scale, so I can read the pages and pages of BAWSOBROKENS by the very same people who whined for it, after it turns out that they lack the logistical skills and reflexes to even in play it remotely competently except on the lowest difficulty against the computer with the resource management on cheatmode.
relic is still balancing Dow2, and you think they're going to be able to do better with 10x the number permutations in a timely fashion? THQ doesn't have the time or money to give relic that much support. Hasn't happened yet, and it ain't happening next game either.
FoK is a vanity project fanwank mod, and it's balanced as such. There's nothing wrong with that, but it will never be a model that can be financially supported, which is why the last epic scale game was a disaster, and any future one under the current development considerations will be too, and we haven't even covered the fact the 99% of the people asking for it don't have the skills necessary to micromanage in reatime properly and will quit the game within days or weeks, and those that do, aren't having much fun when they exercise said skills.
We also haven't covered that very few will have the type of rig needed to even play the game without lagging the fuck out of everyone they're playing with, cause THQ ain't paying for dedicated servers.
so am I the only guy here who plays the Dawn of War series to have fun, not for 1337XxXx~supercompetitivelectronicgamingSUPERBALANCEDNOFUNALLOWED~xXxX1337

So you're gonna buy 7000000 copies of the next game yourself to make it financially viable? Awesome, you can buy my copy too.

Nope, seeing as how Im not allowed to play table top my way because of text that shows up on a computer screen.

Personally, I could give less of a shit about what you're saying. I buy games to, ideally, have fun playing the, not to get yelled at across the internet for being a soulless drone of THQ
Just because it's balanced doesn't mean it's super serious pro MLG no fun allowed.
Just because it's balanced doesn't mean it's super serious pro MLG no fun allowed.
Apparently it does.
From what I'm gathering you don't want FoK or any 'unbalanced' or 'true-to-tabletop' mods to be played online because IT RUINS THE BALANCE AND THE WORLD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
Then you're gathering wrong, and FoK isn't true to table top in the remotest sense, it just has many TT units omitted by relic.
Now, ro get Space Marine for my Xbox/PS3 or computer. Gamestop or steam as well.
CHOICES CHOICES.

You're also implying FoK was actually built to be played competitively instead of between a group of friends wanting to have fun

You hate the idea of a epic scale DoW. Rant against anyone saying DoW3 should be epic scale and that it would never happen. All details that starts to trickle out point to an epic scale DoW3. You get mad and hope it fails.
Also huge scale worked for Supreme Commander, was hardly impossible to manage it.
Final Liberation was fun. :(

Paul Dobson? I'd keep thinking Marcus or Frank Horrigan.
Yeah both Paul and Brian Dobson have done a shit load of voices for DoW over the years, though personally I remember/Identify Paul more with Graveheart.
Playing FFA with some dudes
