I liked the bit where Matt Ward made the Necrons sentient and not just Terminators. It reminded me of the Tomb Kings.
In other words QS kasyr QSS KATYR!!!!!! Gods I hated the lobby in dc. That was essentially the only thing that kept being spammed. Shame some of the more unusual gamemodes were hardly played. I know I used to love assassination from time to time. It was not balanced in any way, but felt different in a big way.
The thing that makes Kasyr Lutien an unbalanced map is the fact that there's a road leading directly into your enemy's base, and the fact that every player has access to Relics.
It is, a defect in the geneseed combined with the genes of the Nocturne people, and their skin isn't dark, it's pure obsidian black.
pre matt ward they were apparotly just black. As in african origin [editline]30th July 2011[/editline] Also I like the DOW2 campaign, it just feels so... broad and extensive. The missions and settings themselves feel too similiar and the boss battles in the end are somewhat retarded, but I like playing it. cyrus is a emo cunt, and the techmarine, mattheus I think, has a bitchin voice.
Read space marine Characters, look up Captain Titus. Put book down.
pre matt ward they were apparotly just black. As in african origin
They were african originally, but they turned obsidian skinned even before matt ward.

His voice is so badass that the Void Dragon weeps for every word he speaks.
Cyrus and Martellus have the same voice though, and I wouldn't class Cyrus as emo at all.

So is there a novel that follows some simple dude living in an agriworld or something and then gets drafted for the PDF and then the Guard because that's what I want to read, not about some ultra-faggot space marines no matter how much GW tries to shove them in my face

[editline]30th July 2011[/editline] I'm reading Dead Men Walking right now, it's a very good book.
Just got in two lascannon part sets. Should I put them on stern guards or devastators?

Pretty much all about Marines, except a few which are about Guardsman.
I just wanted to read what Guard boot camp is like (if there even is one, I mean the Guard is mostly recruited from PDFs and those probably have their own boot camp). They probably give you the flak armor and flashlight and point you towards the enemy.
Dead Men Walking is about Death Korps of Krieg vs Necrons, its pretty damn awesome.
Not sure, as I haven't read it, but 15 hours might be what you're looking for.
that's exactly what he's looking for except for the PDF part but w/e
DKoK sound pretty boring to be honest, sure they're cool on the outside but on the inside they're clones which is pretty bland Best thing about them is the minor /tg/ meme about shipping them in crates
Just got in two lascannon part sets. Should I put them on stern guards or devastators?
Can Stern Guard take them as wargear though?
Just got in two lascannon part sets. Should I put them on stern guards or devastators?
Sternguard are better off with bolters and their special fancy ammunition.
Unrelated but awesome
Just thought i'd drop this here, incase anyone wanted to see. http://imgur.com/a/ZESBs (my first time properly trying out some models, not sure on the cholor scheme, opinions?)
For a first try, that isn't half bad. One good tip I can offer to you, is drybrush a little chainmail on to any gold or bronze details you do. And for any bone, wash it with Devlan Mud then drybrush skullwhite + whatever you used to base the bone with. If you feel like it, wash the cloak with some Badab Black to get into the crevices, and add some depth to the model. And if you have a fine detail brush, paint some Chaos Black into the holes on the helmet. Another thing that look nice on chaos warriors, is to dry brush the tiniest little bit of Dwarf Bronze onto stuff like the chainmail and steel armour plates. Besides all that though, you show promise, keep practicing and don't be afraid to try new things. If you have any questions, I would be happy to help out, so you can post here again or send me a message.
