A real space marine needs only three hours of sleep, so that's one extra
Real space marines don't sleep, they wait.

I never really thought Space Marines slept at all. And i didn't think they needed to eat either.
Yeah it has, and they're nine feet tall, and their junk isn't.
9 feet tall would be quite tall for a marine, seing as they average around 7-8. And no, nothing has been mentioned ever as to what happens to a Space Marines Genatalia. Also Harry, they do sleep, though if they are on operations they can take a standing up sequential power nap, shutting down parts of their brain in sequence so that they always have a sense of their environment, and yeah they need to eat too, but can survive with less and manage with protein pastes, some of which, especially when on long operations is recycled from their own waste. Also 27x, whats that screenshot from? Well, DoW obvviously but mod or what?

They need to eat and sleep, though those chapters with the catalepsian node gene-nodule can enter an "overwatch" state, much like sharks where only parts of their brain are active in sweeping patterns, allowing them to be vigilant and rest at the same time. They do need to eat, but can eat damn near anything (including orks and nids) and don't require much since they process about 90% of their food as opposed to the 10-20% of a normal human.
9 feet tall would be quite tall for a marine, seing as they average around 7-8. How do you find all of this stuff out?
Reading, going to GamesDay, talking to staffers.
Reading, going to GamesDay, talking to staffers.
What's GamesDay?
~my little heretic ~
nope.
Reading, going to GamesDay, talking to staffers.
I've been meaning to get some more Warhammer books, I have the Gaunt's Ghosts series and Gotrek and Felix, any books that anyone would recommend?
So do space marines pursue any kind of relationship at all? Some books refer to higher up officers in the imperial guard getting it on with the nurses, but most space marines seem to focus on fighting and chapter-wide goals.
If I remember correctly the Codex astartes gives them about 15 minutes a day for personal stuff. The rest is more or less training or prayer.
"experimental" weapons in 40K... If they want to stay true to fluff it should be "A rumour of an STC!" Also the PDF turn to chaos.
The admech routinely makes technological advances. It's just very slow since it has to go trough a massive approval process. Something along the lines. Is it something that we way find in future STC's? Yes it's defininitely something that is certainly to be located in future STC fragments as such the omnisiah praise us.
I've been meaning to get some more Warhammer books, I have the Gaunt's Ghosts series and Gotrek and Felix, any books that anyone would recommend?
Ciaphas Cain and Soul Hunter/Throne of Lies/Blood Reaver.
GOD DAMN IT RELIC. You making Tactical Marines have helmets like Diomedes is encouraging, but i'll pass on buying this one.
Veterans FTW.
mod
Nids and Ultrasmurfs are getting MPDLC week after next. Nids are free, Smurfs are 7 bux.
First psy-cannons fire the Emperor's shit. Now Space Marines eat their own? :psyduck:
Well, not literally as it is presumably broken down into its constituent proteins before being turned into paste by the suit. I like the fact that Uriel Ventris gets a death oath and a right old bollocking for breaking with the teneants of the Codex, even though he won, but then, a few books later, Calgar, Sicarius and pretty much everyone else goes "fuck it stuff the codex" and not even a negative comment is passed.

They so could have tied it in with the Ultra default scheme (2nd Company) and made the commander look like Captain Sicarius.
Normally, I would never buy one of their super priced skin makeover thingy majigs, but that one looks amazing. 1000x better than the Dark Angels one.
It's only a shame that you cant translate it over to singleplayer, even though the colours etc would jibe with the story, but i don't think anyone would give a flying thunderhawk.
Me and a friend came to the conclusion Khorne is only the most angry chaos god out there cause every time he's about to enjoy a good time of resting by sitting in his throne and hear war raging around the universe, lots of chaos marines and cultists raid his temple and start throwing and pilling skull on his throne, while a bunch of other chaos come with lots of buckets full of blood and throw at him

This opinion was sanctioned by the Inquisition.
It's only a shame that you cant translate it over to singleplayer, even though the colours etc would jibe with the story, but i don't think anyone would give a flying thunderhawk.
Or the last stand.
Now that i think about it, sitting on top of a pile of skulls can't be very comfortable.
Now that i think about it, sitting on top of a pile of skulls can't be very comfortable.
Considering that Khorne is a warp entiti and therefore has no material body, it wouldn't be much of an issue.
Or the last stand.
You can, but it involves questionable legality.
Considering that Khorne is a warp entiti and therefore has no material body, it wouldn't be much of an issue.
That means they can't have comfort? >Slaanesh
Comfort is in the eye of the penetrator, not vice versa.
