After trying every hour or so all day, I was finally able to trade with my friend for the achievement.
I traded him coal for coal. We both received coal.
Had 4 objectives done from today but my inventory wasn't working.
Got back today from doing errands and saw I got a coupon and 3 coal.
Crafted my coal and got World Basketball Manager 2010. Gave it to my wife when we were doing the trade objective for her, she didn't notice until after the trade was over.
Told her merry christmas, and that I hope she enjoyed her new game.

People need to stop spreadign that, coal has huge differences in worth depending on what you want to get, while a holiday gift is "pretty cheap", a game bought at request can get quite expensive, coal 2 money is probably worst.
