They'd probably be able to detect weird patterns like people with low or nonexistant playtimes with loads of achievments but apart from that, I doubt it.

SAM emulates you being in a game. Open up a games achievement list via sam and then click on your friends list - it will say you are ingame.

The And Yet It Moves achievement warped my brain... I seriously don't even know where I got that game.
... And if I'm at the point where I've got so many games that I don't know where they're coming from, I think it's time to quit. Just going to try to grab a SR3 key off of GMG and a Deus Ex key off of amazon while they're on sale, and that's it.

You can copy the steam id from the store url then add it in the bar at the top of the SAM window.
