From what I read a bunch of Russians with like 100+ alts did get suspended but they also abused HIB keys and Dark Messiah/Race 07 keys (these 2 you can get free from some site).

Honestly, relax. There is no need for every single person to overreact for something like this.
From what it seems, Valve is disabling accounts for people who have tons and tons of alts. There is nothing random about this, and there is no cause for alarm unless you yourself find that your account is locked.

I highly doubt if you have 1 alt that you are in trouble.
My friend is in town and while visiting, he has used my internet and his steam. My wife has a steam account, and I have a steam account. Those are all separate accounts and all have played games and made purchases during this sale.
Now, Valve could see this as multiple accounts, but they are all different people.
I imagine they are only targeting serious gift farmers.

I'd honestly relax unless something happens. There is no need to worry so much.
And if you honestly are concerned, go tell Steam Support and apologize or something.

That's my thought.
There would be no purpose in targeting people besides if they are mass gathering coal and gifts.

It doesn't make sense for Valve to target accounts who are doing the objectives that only have Humble Bundles because there can be legitimate users who have no other games than that, and I doubt they would take the risk to ban so many honest users.
Now, it makes sense for them to ban people who have many accounts, all logging in from the same location, and unlocking the objectives and hoarding the rewards.
Such as the guys with over 100 accounts, and hundreds of coal.
