Hey, c'mon now, nothing wrong with using "I see", that was the point so many of you are giving the story, no point in walking on eggshells about this shit. Fuck, it's just an expression, I doubt a blind man would even read the words (huehuehuehue) rather than just take the face value of the expression. [editline]13th January 2012[/editline] Rin's philosophies were dumb as fuck. No, you're not the sky, goddamnit.

Oh my god the talks with Kenji make my day.
I have Traits of Aspergers, and it's actually easy for me to understand her... odd way of speech. Real philosophical undertones if you look deeper into her sentences. Some of them, at least.
Its not that hard to understand her.

This is a downright logical fallacy. (well, hisao's logical fallacy but whatever)

that was meant to build on my previous comment regarding Rin's thoughts, not about the whole communication thing.
Yeah I don't really get the "feels" either. I even wear prosthetics legs and I didn't even feel any extra connection based on that. I was actually talking about this to a friend of mine who doesn't come to this forum, but he said it's probably because of something called "Moe" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moe - I never heard of it before but I suppose the characters in this story can be defined that way.
That isn't it for me though, I get the same "feels" when I read a book, I just get so immersed with the world I am reading about that I "become" the protagonist even if the actions are thought out for me and I have no control. Meanwhile my emotions do their own thing, creating these "feels".
this game girl sleep watcher simulator
I thought it was acknowledged this was the cripple porn simulator?
Ohohoho. So philosophy is about spewing bullshit now? hey guys, 2 + 2 = 5, the sky is green, I'm fucking descartes, man. As soon as you ignore logic, everything fucking comes crashing down, no thought can exist without logic. Hell, even to disregard logic you need logic.
I thought it was acknowledged this was the cripple porn simulator?
You watch them sleep more than you fuck them.
I thought it was acknowledged this was the cripple porn simulator?
that and ive played 3 arcs so far all 3 of them there was a scene where hisao watches them sleep

As soon as you ignore logic, everything fucking comes crashing down, no thought can exist without logic. Hell, even to disregard logic you need logic.
Philosophy is an alternate way of thinking, outside of the logical bounds of the world that we know. The classic example: Does a falling tree make a sound if no one is around to hear it? Logically: yes, the impact with the ground will produce sound waves Philosophically: no, as there is no one to hear it, it makes no sound. And yes, 2 + 2 = 5 can be proved mathematically. It's strange how backwards a subject is when you are at it's deepest levels; many physicists working on quantum physics become religious, and very advanced maths requires a lot of philosophical thinking, i.e how can we prove that 2+1 = 3?
Wow, you really dislike Unusual Metaphors, huh?
Don't see how that's relevant, honestly.
Don't see how that's relevant, honestly.
I don't wanna delve too deep into mudfest, so I'll just say that She describes herself as what sky is to her.

By the way, if that example is devoid of logic, explain this
Philosophically: no, as there is no one to hear it, it makes no sound.
Sounds a lot like a logical argument. Oh, and no, no it can't, what the hell are you smoking?
that and ive played 3 arcs so far all 3 of them there was a scene where hisao watches them sleep
can't blame him, they're all so cute while they sleep~
can't blame him, they're all so cute while they sleep~
Now it's getting creepy.
Now it's getting creepy.
Is Hisao suppose to have sex with them and then just leave?
To get something logically means to get through formal logic. As in A implies B which imples non-C which implied D, etc. etc. This is based on logical axioms, which are true by themselves. And regarding 1+1 = 2 http://scienceblogs.com/goodmath/2006/06/extreme_math_1_1_2.php And what I said earlier, if you disregard logic, you do it through logic, therefore you disregard your own idea.
Is Hisao suppose to have sex with them and then just leave?
As awkward as he is... yeah I could think of him doing that while he's on one of his dumb phases again.
HNNNNG how do i get on lillys or hanakos routes? I did pretty much everything that would point me towards them, And before i know it MANLY PICNIC.
HNNNNG how do i get on lillys or hanakos routes? I did pretty much everything that would point me towards them, And before i know it MANLY PICNIC.
I got Lilly's route by [sp]Introducing myself to the class asking about the library apologising to hanako talking to hanako during the class saying hanako was cute defending lilly against shizune promising I'll run more not pushing myself during the run[/sp] There's probably some more in there but I honestly cannot remember.
There are several ways to get on each route, for instance with Lilly and Hanako the first choice [sp]can be either[/sp].

Logic is a thought process, where everything must be proved and work every time. The tree makes a sound because it has been proven that sound waves exist and are caused by the vibration of molecules i.e the tree hitting the ground. Philosophy is a thought process where everything follows a more open path, unconfined by rules. It makes use of metaphors and analogies to get the point across, and favors a more "human" approach, dealing with feelings and train of thought, whereas logic is more mechanical, abiding by the rules of what is. I'm tired of debating, so I'll keep my thoughts and you keep yours.
