3000+ KS-Related pics i haven't downloaded it yet so i don't know how good it is.
I will check this out tomorrow then. Right now I'm off to bed.
Do you know whether it's original artwork or game CG, or both?
fanart mostly, there's probably official art in there. the cg rip is here: www.mediafire.com/?nx9s29ya4f1brcd or www.filesmelt.com/dl/Katawa.rar
I've seen this around a few times. What's the joke?
It's a running joke about nvidia cards overheating. There's a grain of truth in it I suppose, at least when it comes to the 400 series (as depicted).
Should've been that bear costume thingy that is haunting LMAO Pics which runs away from burning things.
This thread > LMAO pics thread I haven't found myself sitting around F5'ing a topic this much for a long time...
I meant falconkrunch, I remembered him by his avatar. No idea why I merged it with your name. [editline]14th January 2012[/editline] And yeah, sure I'll shut up now.
It was me :downs:
It was, yeah. He pitched in, too, though.
This thread > LMAO pics thread
Of course. I as a socially awkward guy on the internet just thought that could've been funny.
So I just finished Hanako's arc. Feels man, feels everywhere, though, [sp]the good ending was really good, made my day[/sp]. I'll finish up Shizune's arc later so I can be done with this.
I'll finish up Shizune's arc later so I can be done with this.
Prepare for disappointment. Meh
The only thing that disappointed me in Shizune's arc was that there wasn't enough focus on her. It felt a bit like supporting characters' route rather than Shizune's.
Prepare for disappointment. Meh
Looking around places (like the Escapist review commets), some people seem to really like Shizunes. EDIT: I find the writing interesting enough that I can bear with pretty much any development in an arc as long as it pertains to ANY character, because they're all likable in their own way. At least that's what I presume at the time being, in before I'm wrong and end up hating some arc.
Wondering if there is a part three to runner's afternoon or if he's going to leave it at that.
I guess not, but I'll post it then. Basically a nice fan fiction based after the Hanako good ending obviously. It's got quite a twist.
If you REALLY want to feel bad for Hanako you should read this: http://cplcrud.wordpress.com/4ls-era-fanworks-and-scraps/h29-%E2%80%93-future/ Don't do it if you're an emotional wreck already it will make things worse I guess. Also this: http://cplcrud.wordpress.com/4ls-era-fanworks-and-scraps/10-july-1990/ Why did I read it? :smith:
I should have heeded your warning. I'm just going to lie down on the floor... totally unrelated to this.
At the moment I'm finding it hard to enjoy the happy periods with Lilly because I know something bad's going to happen. The feelcoaster must come down at some point.
At the moment I'm finding it hard to enjoy the happy periods with Lilly because I know something bad's going to happen. And then the feelcoaster does a 360 loop.

Also this: http://cplcrud.wordpress.com/4ls-era-fanworks-and-scraps/10-july-1990/ Why did I read it? :smith:
Aw fuck, I started reading the first one. As soon as the little kid saying mommy came up I felt terrible cause I realized what this is gonna be. Now I gotta keep going... [editline]14th January 2012[/editline] and now I'm sad.
I finished Rin's path last night and I think it was even more sad then Emi's path. Things seemed to be going so bad for a while that I couldn't see how the good ending would turn out good, but the game surprised me again. Rin's talk about[sp]"destroying herself" had me pretty worried for a while. I thought she might actually do it.[/sp] I can't imagine how the bad ending is going to be when I get around to doing it. I have admit, I did have a hard time understanding a lot of what Rin said, but I understood enough. I felt pretty bad for Rin during her path, especially after how Hisao acted towards her an few times. I know I said this in my last post too, but I have to say it again. The music really make the whole game better, the sad parts wouldn't be as sad, the tense parts wouldn't be as tense, and the happy parts wouldn't be as happy without the music. It makes me wish that all books had music. Something I forgot to say in my last post was how this game is making me think about things that I haven't really thought of before, like after I did Emi's path I started thinking that maybe it would be fun to start running, I kind of doubt I'll actually do it, but I'm still thinking about it. It also made me have a few questions like, how do prosthetic legs stay on? and how does someone who is deaf and mute learn sign language? Anyway, sorry for another long post, this game just makes me want to talk about it and this is really the only place I can talk about. Only three more paths to go now. One question about Rin's good ending I have is, [sp]whats the answer to her question at the end? I think I might know but I'm not sure.[/sp]

Not quite the same outside the space of the game (with the wonderful art and music), but interesting enough. I played "Painful History" as I read through, luckily I've had a few days to digest Hanako's story by now. The writing feels a bit different, but, those feels man.

You point at shit and say the word, do the sign, write the word. Association kicks in with time.
At the moment I'm finding it hard to enjoy the happy periods with Lilly because I know something bad's going to happen. The feelcoaster must come down at some point.
Take a day off might be an idea. I started Hanako's path rather quickly after Emi's and I feel like it might've had a detrimental impact on the subsequent experience as I was constantly "thinking too much", not always feeling the feelings a particular scene sought to invoke in me. This probably isn't true for everyone, but I think blazing through the game might lessen the experience.

And I'm sure it is. Much, much harder. Humans learn to talk after about 2 or 3 years of watching their parents and listening to the shit they say and what they do meanwhile. A deaf person has not only to watch the person but the person has to keep using sign. [editline]15th January 2012[/editline] Do note I'm pulling this shit out of my ass, regardless of how much it makes sense.
