I don't think you guys are thinking it through. Hanako's the kind of girl that would answer once per 5 minutes and with monosyllabic mutters. [editline]15th January 2012[/editline] I mean, awkward silences errywhere.
Then couldn't you just snuggle on the couch. Seems like a perfect plan to me.

As long as it actually happens that way and you don't fuck it up. There's always that. [editline]15th January 2012[/editline]
Not to mention those burns would look much much worse in reality.
I meant more the kind of person, not the character.
I knew someone like her once without the scars and dead parents but as shy and insecure. It wasn't as cool as you guys think it is. You're constantly saying something wrong that she/he might take the wrong way and need to be careful all the time. Also you can't expect such people to talk much or be there for you when you need them since they're not strong enough to help you. Just don't think a person like Hanako would make a good friend if you're not in the exact same mindset and strong enough to help every day. Also I'm sure it takes much longer to get close to such people in real life and even then you have to think about how much you hurt them if you can't bear their attitude anymore. Just don't get stupid and look for cute and shy friends just because you played a well written VN.
Yeah, that's one other thing. It's easy to ignore a bunch of red lines on paper, the other thing is ignoring this all over someone's body. http://www010.upp.so-net.ne.jp/r-ogawa/jp/parts/scrap12.jpg

Kind of selfish to think about how you would rather know a different type of person. Edit: 1:54 PM - Generic named person: i wanna rub her burnscars 1:54 PM - ILY (Adnap): oh god 1:54 PM - Generic named person: either that or cook her bacon 1:54 PM - Generic named person: but make it cripsy 1:54 PM - Generic named person: ON PURPOSE. Uh...
Not to mention that, not really, she wasn't, she was still afraid of people. not to mention that you have to befriend her before. If Lilly didn't force her into being the same group as Hisao, the act would finish in 5 lines. [editline]15th January 2012[/editline] To be honest, I don't even know what kind of burn scar that is and what kind of burn scars hanako has.
Everything else aside, the people I know right now are more than good enough for me. Be happy if you got friends no matter which since that's something not many people have. I think some people tend to forget that sometimes. And that's enough from me for today. Need to get some stuff done before monday.
To be honest, I don't even know what kind of burn scar that is and what kind of burn scars hanako has.
And that's still kindof beside the point. The game focuses on people with disabilities, not the disabilities of some people, right?
And that's still kindof beside the point. The game focuses on people with disabilities, not the disabilities of some people, right?
Yeah, the game does, the people playing them don't. Nearly everyone has a superficial tint to them.
Yeah, the game does, the people playing them don't. Nearly everyone has a superficial tint to them.
So what you are saying is that people only play this because they dig the Disabilities?
Hmm? No, man, I'm not even talking about the game. I'm saying that, when meeting hanako IRl, her scars would be something you had to cross, and it wouldn't be simple to just ignore them.
Typical [sp]Scot.[/sp]
A woman after my own whiskey drenched scottish heart.
I have to admit the humour in this game is quite nice every now and then.
She's adorable.

http://www010.upp.so-net.ne.jp/r-ogawa/jp/parts/scrap12.jpg
I'd see past it (is what I tell myself in my stronger moments.)
She's adorable.
I kind of wish she had a route on its own. The fact I have a thing for freckled redheads doesn't help
I'd see past it (is what I tell myself in my stronger moments.)
It is much easier to say that while sitting in your desk chair near the computer.
Hmm? No, man, I'm not even talking about the game. I'm saying that, when meeting hanako IRl, her scars would be something you had to cross, and it wouldn't be simple to just ignore them.
I know I'm just messing with ya, I already had an experience with a girl who burned her face in some horrific deep frying accident. It wasn't that hard for me after a few weeks, you get used to it really fast.
She's adorable.
Were she a man, she'd fit spaguetti-stories perfectly :v:
I kind of wish she had a route on its own. The fact I have a thing for freckled redheads doesn't help
I got familyzoned by one. MY MERGE!
It is much easier to say that while sitting in your desk chair near the computer.
Hence the parentheses. I tell myself I can see past burn scars, but I say this while being a keyboard hero.
Hmm? No, man, I'm not even talking about the game. I'm saying that, when meeting hanako IRl, her scars would be something you had to cross, and it wouldn't be simple to just ignore them.
People with grave scarring like Hanako IRL can definitely find friends and partners as well, it just requires these people reaching the point in the relationship where the disability becomes a lesser defining feature for that person compared to his/her other characteristics. The game also makes that relatively clear, with Hanako as example even. When being around people you don't ignore the disabilities or forget they have them, you just stop taking big notice after a while. This is the wonderful inadvertent moral of the game. EDIT:
I know, my point is on the "after a while" part.
I know, my point is on the "after a while" part.
That's actually what happened to me in-game. On my first play-through I didn't find the otherwise popular Hanako path enticing because of how weird I found she looked. I ended up doing her path second time around though.
The only disability I even noticed past Act 2 was Shizune's because of the brackets.
Extras unlocking is all weird and glitchy... Sometimes I had to read through a scene 2 times for it to count as unlocked. The only route I haven't completed is Lilly's, I've 100%d all others, yet I'm missing a picture from the second page, second row, second collumn in the gallery. That one should be quite obviously Emi's, though. Does someone have this image in their gallery unlocked? If so, what is it?

My top 5 music list: 1: Lullaby of Open Eyes 2: Innocence 3: Concord 4: Aria de l'Etoile 5: Wiosna These aren't ranked from 1 to 5, just the 5 best because I can't decide. Everyone post yours!
Right now I'm in the act 3 of Shizune's route and I [sp]just met Lilly's 'sister' and Emi's 'brother'. Why the hell do they look like that?[/sp]
I see emi crying while hisao is holding her and kissing her on the forehead.
I see that one below it. It's the [sp]graveyard[/sp] scene edit: It's the closeup one, isn't it? Just found it in the game's files
1. Wiosna 2. Stride 3. Parity 4. Afternoon 5. Daylight Stride and Wiosna are top tier to me Letting my Heart Speak is also really nice
