So from the more or less negative discussions going on around the internet I'm left wondering, am I the only one who does infact know that those characters are not real and it's just a good story? And what the fuck is up with that waifu stuff. I didn't even know what that word means before and it really creeps me out somehow. Do people really fall in love with those characters?

Yes, waifus do get that bad. And no, you aren't. This is a romance novel with some choices in it. That's as far as it goes. Hell, I haven't even touched the game for a few days.
