all my friends said it was terrible
Well, Emi's path just wasn't really written that well. All the elements for a good heartfelt story are there, they just aren't assembled in the right way at all. I didn't really enjoy it as much as the other ones so far, but, I won't put anybody down for enjoying it.
I think more people would enjoy Hanako's route if it went longer instead of saying Hisao was useless in Hanako's route because [sp]she opens up more quickly in Lilly's. No fucking shit she does; Lilly's was 5x longer.[/sp]
WHY IS HE SAYING NO
Maybe Hisao could be replaced with his Katawa Crash sprite and his reaction with "HNNNGHH!" :v:
Katawa crash is making me stupid BUT WHY DO I KEEP PLAYING IT
:'(
are you alright man
Katawa crash is making me stupid BUT WHY DO I KEEP PLAYING IT
It's a great distraction from the feels.
Katawa crash is making me stupid BUT WHY DO I KEEP PLAYING IT
Wait for the rootgirl
Maybe Hisao could be replaced with his Katawa Crash sprite and his reaction with "HNNNGHH!" :v:
Your wish is my command.
Given what everyone is saying about Hanako's route I'm probably going to do that one last.
Rin is still my favorite arc
But Rin is not Hanako. What is this
Alright, doing the last one I still have. Time to do Lilly's arc.
Have fun on the feelcoaster, this one is a doozy. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline]
But Rin is not Hanako. What is this
After playing all the routes and thinking about it a little, I believe the two best arcs are the Lilly and Rin arcs.
I didn't like Lilly's because [sp]she never had too much of a problem. While Rin and Hanako have severe mental problems that are somewhat sorted out, Lilly's main "problem" is moving back to Scotland.[/sp]
[sp]I'd rather have a chick with no problems to be honest[/sp]
[sp]Same, but for the sake of story, it was rather boring. Lilly could've never met Hisao and live perfectly fine in Scotland, while the rest of the girls would still have crippling problems throughout their life. But hey, this is just my inner white knight.[/sp]
Am I weird for really liking Shizune? I haven't played any other arc so far, nor have I finished hers, but after Act 1 I really grew to like her. Though it's my understanding that she isn't a really popular character. One act left for her though, so we'll see where that goes.
are you alright man
i shed some manly tears after thinking about hanakos good ending, totally worth it i hope ill be able to sleep, lol

I don't know why you like Hanako so much, I found it really boring. [editline]19th January 2012[/editline] The blade was probably dulled by Rin and Emi, though, but those 2 had much more action.
follow your dreams, friend no but seriously Shizune is a good route in my opinion, although it really hinges on the 'novel' part of visual novel.
I could see that, I really like the story, but looking at guides I see that she has almost no choices other than one in act three during her arc, which is really disappointing. I'd have liked to see more involvement. But regardless, as a character I really enjoy her. Obviously I despise Misha with every fiber of my being~~.
"what is your favorite color?" wtf why do you want to know you're blind you don't even know what colors are
I actually thought that was an interesting question coming from a blind person.
Was I the only one who was disappointed with Rin's arc? I had the first impression that she was just a hell of a smartass, until I found later on that she either has a speech disorder (forgetting words and replacing them with others, don't remember the medical term currently), or she's just fucking nuts. Either way, I thought shit was too weird for my taste. Also, 100% completion, and I loved this VN.
I had the same reaction as Hisao, tbh.
follow your dreams, friend no but seriously Shizune is a good route in my opinion, although it really hinges on the 'novel' part of visual novel.
I'm just beginning her 4'th act (really hope I got that choice right... welp, I get the feeling I might not have), I'm liking everything except [sp]the seemingly incessant faffing about the story seems to resort to from time to time, with unnecessary side characters and or non-progressive scenes[/sp].
Am I weird for really liking Shizune? I haven't played any other arc so far, nor have I finished hers, but after Act 1 I really grew to like her. If there's one thing this game really pulled off, it was drawing up the characters such that each has unique quirks that you can like more or less, giving each arc a distinct feeling.

If not, [sp] Shizune and Misha hate each other, get depressed, and quit school.[/sp] [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] good luck
Is Shizune worth doing?
Is Shizune worth doing?
I wouldn't rush it, but definitely do it sometime.
