It has got to suck HARD to be born blind.
No matter how hard you imagine, you can't know what colours look like, like the blue sky.
Just whatever blind people see. Black, grey, whatever, and they probably can't discern even those colors from each other either.

Apparently if you're blind you don't just see "black", you literally don't see anything at all. At least that's the case with some blindness. I can't imagine that, but apparently that's what was claimed by people who've initially been born blind then had their sight restored.

Depending on whether or not it has to do with the way your brain interprets the input, or can't get input at all I'd assume you would "see" either absolute nothingness or black, respectively.

Shizune's arc was pretty badly written IMO. [sp]It has way more stuff going on than the other arcs but if by the grace of god any of it survives to the 4th arc, none of it is explained. Misha's turmoil which is supposed to be the focus of 1/4 of the 3rd arc, and all of the last arc, is just solved with a deus ex machina. How on earth did giving her a pep talk solve two years of confusion and anguish, as well as the whole unrequited love for her best friend thing? Also, what the fuck happened with Jigoro? I was expecting at the very least some kind of explanation about the "she didn't speak to me for 12 years" thing, which was looking to be some incredibly important father/daughter problem (because you know, it is), but after Hisao and him have that "fight" in the student council building he just buggers off, consigning him permanently to the shameful position of "comic relief character with untapped potential". Honestly, with all the build-up and subsequent disappointment with Misha, what they should have done is axe half of her scenes and assign them to her family (both the Satous and Hakamichis), because despite the fact that it also builds up how she regrets alienating people or otherwise messing with them, and brings up that her personality is more conflicted than it really seems, those points are also left untouched and it seems like Shizune is exactly the same coming out as she was coming in.[/sp]
Warning, the above spoils literally every plot point in Shizune's arc.

That's what I thought. Cool stuff though.
I was able to finish Hanako's good ending path yesterday night. I enjoyed it, the part before the end was the saddest part for me, and Hanako [sp]confessing how she felt surprised me, I never guessed that she thought she was just a burden to her friends.[/sp] One thing I kind of like in Hanako path was that Shizune and Misha were trying to comfort Hisao when things were going bad, even though he was hanging out with Lilly and Hanako and not them. The [sp]sex scene was kind of sad though, because Hanako was only seemed to be doing it because she thought she had to or else Hisao would leave her.[/sp]
I do agree that it could have been a little longer, I would have like to see what happened when [sp]Lilly came back[/sp] ,but in an way, I thought the ending it did have was pretty fitting, It was nice and happy.
All that's left now is Lilly's path and then I might play Shizune's path again since I fell like I wasn't paying enough attention when I played it the first time. Then there's also the bad endings.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do after I finish it all, I always feel an little sad when I finish something I really like, partly because the first time reading something is always the best.
Also, I really like listening to the music, I was listening to it when I'm was making this post, I'm still missing one song though.
