I'm not sure this game likes me too much. When I played the demo way back when I was a bit annoyed that I happened to choose Shizune first, and her "finale" made all the other ones seem shallow by comparison. So when the full version rolled around I avoided her and picked Rin...

Ah fuck it, I'll give it a try, I'm too damn curious of this. The art style seems nice, too.
Started a few hours ago, and I must say I really like the writing. The whole game feels high-quality completely opposed to my expectations. I'll press on, but I'm a bit worried that not being decisive enough early on when it comes to path choices will leave me with some terrible ending. How tolerant is the game of indecisiveness? I haven't finished Act 1 yet, I think.
Finally finished Hanako's path. God damn, that was just great. I was really happy that I didn't screw it up as well, I was genuinely worried when I read that there were 2 bad ends to her route. A very sweet story.
I suppose it's time to move on to another path? Bit awkward to think of that idea after getting as involved in Hanako's story as I did. Probably going to be Emi or Rin. I don't really care too much for either of them, so I figure I may as well see what stories they have to offer instead of putting them off.

Indecisiveness during the first act [sp]will literally kill you. Hisao has a forever alone party with Kenji up on the roof, gets wasted, has a heart attack, and falls off of the roof.[/sp] So yeah, pick a route and stick with it. Also, be very reasonable whenever the game presents you with a choice. This game doesn't mess around with its bad endings, but if you actually use your noggin while making the decisions and try to reason out the consequences, you should avoid the bad endings.

Hanako's made me depressed in real, I had to wake up at 2am just so I could finish it since I couldn't sleep.
I expected this to be incredibly shitty, but I'm surprised, it's entirely well made and the characters are likeable, especially Shizune, Lilly, Rin and Hanako

It's pretty much just the trap that makes me not like her. That and I don't find her to be particularly interesting.
