I wish you could get closer to some of the minor characters, specifically Kenji, Mutou and Yuuko. Actually, pretty much any of the minor characters. Miki seems like a pretty cool bro, were that she actually a guy. I was kind of surprised that there was no "best male friend" character besides Kenji, who isn't even particularly close to you. Sure, it's a visual novel, so time is obviously limited to keep the pacing, but I would definitely have enjoyed being able to learn about them. Lilly's arc made me feel pretty good, though:
Mutou's the one I'd really like to be able to have more interaction with, mostly because I've met teachers like him in reality. Despite how boring he might sound, [sp]he wants to change people's lives through teaching. Mutou's pretty proud that Hisao wants to become a science teacher because of that. [/sp]
I can also totally relate to Yuuko, though, especially since I'm also studying classics and anthropology. It definitely seems like that would be her thing.
Even Kenji. Man, there has to be something really important about him that I haven't found out yet, that's driving his misogyny through the roof.
I've just finished Emi's ending... No words, that was beautiful.
