When people ask where my writing inspiration has come from in the past few days I start sweating profusely as I have an inner war on whether or not to tell them about Katawa Shoujo. Because I know that once I start explaining it I'm going to fucking be there explaining it for a while. First thing people ask me

Second thing people ask me

"Well then if you don't then why did you play it?"
And then I have to go on and on about how my good buddy recommended the game to me and it changed me for the better and I'm a shiny happy person now and I have to be like BRO TRUST ME IT'S NOT ENTIRELY ABOUT CRIPPLE FUCKING but they never believe me and then the situation gets all awkward and they're like "well ok see ya" and then they go tell all their friends about the creepy guy who gets inspiration from disabled girl dating sims
but god damn it i try so hard to make it not look like that because [I]it's not like that god damn it[/I]
I want to bring up Katawa Shoujo to people for the feels, but, knowing them, they wouldn't look past cripple fucking and wouldn't give it a second glance.

Might just be the sort of people then. My friends were willing to give it a try even after I told them everything, but I could see why someone wouldn't. Next time just get some lame excuse (or amazing presentation of the truth) if some semi-random person asks about it.
