When you do the other path, I don't like how you have to ignore the other people. Since I completed Hakano's path, I feel really bad for ignoring her.
Indecisiveness during the first act [sp]will literally kill you. Hisao has a forever alone party with Kenji up on the roof, gets wasted, has a heart attack, and falls off of the roof.[/sp] So yeah, pick a route and stick with it. Also, be very reasonable whenever the game presents you with a choice. This game doesn't mess around with its bad endings, but if you actually use your noggin while making the decisions and try to reason out the consequences, you should avoid the bad endings.
Judging by the cinematic at the close of act 1 it seems I ended up with Emi, that right?. I suppose that's good, even though I had half-heartedly set my aim on Lilly for a while there.
i think i found a program that opens RPA files requires python to use, which you can find here http://www.lattyware.co.uk/projects/unrpa/

I suppose that's good, even though I had half-heartedly set my aim on Lilly for a while there.
As stated before, it is incredibly easy for a guy to fall in to Emi's route by playing off of your competitiveness. If you're okay with Emi, then more power to you, but there's nothing wrong with firing up skip mode for act 1 and rectifying the Emi mistake. The thing about Emi's route that makes a lot of people angry is that her route is set up later in the course of Act 1, after you've more than likely set your heart on a specific path. The little "WELL BOY, YOU GONNA LET THIS CHICK WITH NO LEGS SHOW YOU UP?" challenge gets a LOT of players and once you're on Emi's path it's difficult to drop out of it without completely failing. One thing you have to keep in mind is that the decisions you make do matter in the long run, so you have to be careful. One wrong move and suddenly OH HELLO SHIZUNE I DIDN'T REALIZE I WAS ON YOUR PATH AGAIN.
If you're having so much trouble with Act 1 check under the release picture for an Act 1 guide.
:wtc:
Emi spoilers: [sp]this is EXACTLY what anal is like god damn this is fucking hilarious[/sp]

If Emi's path is somewhat light-hearted compared to the others it seems like a good choice for a first run (lol). And for a first run I'd be glad to achieve anything other than a crap/forever alone ending. If this game really has as many different story branches as it appears then there is certainly reason to replay it.
i'm wrapping all the files in a .rar file and ill upload them to a file share site all the video files, all the BGM, all the images, everything. not piracy since the game is free :v:
Haha going down Emi's path and some happy go lucky music starts playing and I check the name and its called: Generic Happy Music. This just keeps getting better and better.
im hammering the spacebar to get to this fucking [sp]anal[/sp] (because thats apparently when this damn route picks up) come ON

Thanks. Still though, caught me off guard. Anyway, I really like the game. Some are put off by it, but it's truly a good read.
http://filesmelt.com/dl/Katawa.rar im not uploading it again comcast will think im doing evil things
This game is a fucking downer at parts The writing quality never wavers however, and it's a very entertaining read.
Oh god; the Rin ending pictures are separated via the filenames "goodend" and "trueend". Way to just twist the knife, little program.

Someone please tell me. Is any chocolate ever given?
Someone please tell me. Is any chocolate ever given?
I got Hanako's good end and I never gave chocolate to anyone. [editline]5th January 2012[/editline] I'm also not sure if I even want to go for anyone else's path. This game is super depressing for someone like me.
I can't really play this until I get back to my room at university. I don't intend to play this while I'm at home. I'm really looking forward to it though. From the sounds of it, the quality from Act 1 held up.
I'm also not sure if I even want to go for anyone else's path. This game is super depressing for someone like me.
"Someone like me"?
"Someone like me"?
I'm depressed yo Usually when I start to think a lot, it gets me sort of down. And this game has made me think a lot and it doesn't help that it's also pretty depressing, so it makes me sad :v:. I do have medicine I take for my depression, but it doesn't really kick in at 4 in the morning :v: That's a simple way of putting it.
