Going with this, people who aren't as involved with the internet, i.e. only using it for Facebook and Twitter and social networking, are the kind of people who, if they saw this novel and played it, would say: "Anime is for gaylords, I'd rather smoke weed."

I believe it's not as simple as that. Personally I didn't take this game seriously when I first started playing it (I came in to this thread with a mindset shared by many of us I believe), but I ended up having a great experience as I switched stance. That process is kind of hard to replicate by recommending the game to someone else. You couldn't really get away with concealing the presence of adult themes or the disabilities either.

It's also hard to recommend an emotional anime-related piece in general, let alone a visual novel with H-scenes, without a measure of irony. I suppose you could try to get people into KS by introducing it in a completely ironic/humorous sense, but that'd be really awkward to pull off considering how much most of us enjoy the game.

I've been following KS since someone posted about it in the Fast Anime thread like 2 or so years ago.
Oh my gosh i downloaded this last night and I was high and I was playing this game and oh my god the emotions I almost cried. I did. Jesus Christ. I love this game I love this game I love this game. I turn it on this morning to start off where I left and oh my god its so awesome. I just happened to accidentally click the download link last night and didn't see it finish until late and I started playing it and didn't go to bed till 3AM. My god. Thank you OP :)
