Hey quick question, is it possible to extract graphics and sound? I can't seem to open python files without a crash.
Finished all 5 arcs last night. Kenji is such a bro. I enjoyed all of his dialog, because i interpreted almost all of it as satire. At least it felt like he was being completely satirical/joking by the end of the arcs.
For the first play though, I just did whatever i would've done if I was hisao. Ended up getting really far on Emi's arc, then breaking up without ever speaking to her again. Kind of sad. After doing the "correct" path for every single arc I think I now understand why that happened. I enjoyed the arc a lot though, simply because it felt like a very happy/joking atmosphere for most of the time. And when things needed to get serious, things got serious. It felt natural. After finishing hanako's arc I went back to finish this one, and I made it to the end on that playthrough. This was easily my favorite arc. I also feel like it had the best outcome, [sp]as hisao increased his lifespan through constant exercise, and is on the path to become a scientist. Although I don't remember anymore what emi is going to do after school. Other than being a pirate with 2 peg legs.[/sp]
For the 2nd playthrough, I honestly just wanted to try and see if I could do a misha arc, but it wouldn't let me and instead made me go out with shizune. I don't know why i thought it would even let me take a "misha arc" in the first place, but damn it i tried. I finished the arc, but i didn't really care about the outcome either way.
3rd was Hanako, although it had to have been my least favorite arc out of them all. I've just never liked girls that are overly timid, even though [sp]towards the end she starts becoming a lot more outgoing. Along with wanting to be more outgoing/accepted since the very beginning, but because she was bullied and alone for most of her life she didn't want to open up for fear of getting hurt more.[/sp] I think.
Then I did lilly's arc. A lot of parts of the story seemed off. I may have missed some underlying details, but it felt as if there was very little character development until way later into the arc, and before you even gt that far [sp]they start confessing their love to each other and have sex[/sp]. Actually, a lot of the arc made me stop and think about what was going on. It felt broken and fragmented. I guess another example is that [sp]even though lilly "loves" hisao, she's willing to just completely leave the country to go be with parents she never really knew without ever asking if hisao wants to come along. If she actually loved hisao, just like she probably loves her parents, i'd think the first thing that would come to mind is trying to be with them both simultaneously. And if that didn't work out, only then would she have to choose between one or the other. I didn't expect Lilly to come back and stay with hisao when first reading it, even though I thought about all of what i've mentioned previously while reading the story. I guess part of me knew she was going to somehow hear the commotion, and the other part thought back onto how broken the story felt so I figured it would be broken here too.[/sp] I could probably go on, but i'd need to remember more exact examples from the story, and that would mean having to re-read it.
At this point, I just didn't feel like doing rin's arc because she didn't really interest me. I ended up doing it anyways just to see how it would turn out. She was pretty much an extreme version of what I must sound like when I haven't slept for two days (After the first day of no sleep, I start becoming extremely focused on everything around me. Similar to how lilly is fully aware of her surroundings at all times, mostly out of necessity. After the 2nd day I lose the ability to multitask, and instead think constantly, becoming fascinated with everything around me and how it works). Because of this, I understood most of what Rin wanted to say before she said it, but obviously hisao didn't so I felt very disconnected from the story. Overall I didn't enjoy this arc too much, but I felt a strange happiness on the very last line/picture.
Somewhere in those playthroughs I took the "fuck this, i'm hanging with kenji" route. He still has some of the best dialogue.

I'm pretty sure it's "Afternoon". You know when you pause the game, it shows what the scene is called and what music is playing, if any is playing.
