Not really, you just click download and with a <20 MB file it won't take you longer than a minute anyways. My VN's aren't so great that you can't handle waiting an extra 10 seconds, even though I'd like to think they are.

I've lost files I've had uploaded on Filesmelt (images were fine generally). As much as I used to like it, as soon as I got an imgur upload plugin I never used it again.

Filesmelt deletes everything that's been uploaded monthly. I still have stuff on Mediafire from 2009.
I just used filesmelt to upload a file, I have to click "upload", find the file, waiting for it to uploading, and then highlight + copy the link. Mediafire is much easier.

Well if Filesmelt manages to come out of beta and keep its content uploaded for longer amounts of time than Mediafire does, as well as add an archive system of some sort - then I can safely call it the best.
