Just an example of why Shizune sucks : There's only one choice to make, and it's the easiest one ever.
I still really enjoyed Shizune's arc even if you didn't really get to interact with it much. Although maybe that's just my preferences for dominating girls and girls with glasses talking :v:
So I just finished Cradle Song - Teaser, I can say that (for me) it was more immersive than Katawa Shoujo is.
I would ask, but seeing how Katawa Shoujo is still messing with my mind, I'd rather not go insane
Same could be said for Emi [sp]since you get an extra chance even if you fuck up[/sp] althought I liked her arc. I just don't like Shizune's character a lot. I might try it on an off day. Suuuuure.
Still, a great multitude of choice makes an arc complex and interesting, as you're never really sure what's the good answer or the wrong one. Shizune has one choice and it's pretty fucking retarded to see what will give you the good ending. Emi's depends if you decide to ignore one main character of her arc. If you don't, you get plenty of perspectives and it hints you as to what you should do. But yeah, the fact that [sp] You can save her ass if you talk to misha about it[/sp] is a pretty bad choice. Even more after what you told her when you [sp]Go after her.[/sp]

Although maybe that's just my preferences for dominating girls and girls with glasses talking :v:
It's okay if you liked it, I shouldn't be so harsh about Shizune's arc anyway. For me it felt like there was way too much filler so that you couldn't feel the emotional relationship between Hisao and her. [sp]Shizune is a very interesting character, and when you start talking about her, it gets quite fun. The bets are also pretty interesting. The problem is that 90% of her arc is about other characters than her. Her family is extremely boring, and her father is god-forsakenly annoying. The only moment where you really learn about Shizune is at the good end when she tells you about leadership and friendship. And that could've saved the arc, but even then it's hard to feel bad for Shizune or to understand her pleas, when you see that Misha needs even more help than her, as she is almost nearly suicidal. For me, Shizune's arc lacked Shizune, and was too focused about the characters around her and the fucking student council stuff. [/sp]

and that's how yamako was made this is a cleverly disguised mlp joke that I'm ashamed about understanding
On Aprils Fool day awhile ago they pitched the concept of new characters and stuff you had to pay for. It's a shame it was just a joke.
A second year student at Yamaku, Rika has heart condition not completely unlike Hisao's, called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. The condition is fatal if untreated, but Rika has gone through a reconstructive heart surgery as a toddler. Even so, she still left physically weak and at a constant danger of complications. A string of hospitalizations has made Rika a loner, but not a lonely person. She is sometimes hard to get through to, and tends to get lost in thought even in crowds. People sometimes mistake this for shyness, but in reality Rika does get along with most people, although she rarely actively seeks social contact. Hisao meets Rika by chance at the school infirmary and the two find something to reflect themselves from in the other. Rika's aloof attitude and ostensible comfort with her condition might challenge Hisao to grow as a person, but trouble arises when unpredictable circumstances take their relationship to a surprising direction...

Saki suffers from Spinocerebellar ataxia, a degenerative disease that makes her gradually lose muscle control, amongst other issues. She uses a crutch to help her balance, but is going to lose the ability to walk and eventually, all daily tasks and even eating and breathing. Fated to die with no hope of a cure, Saki is a conflicting figure. She has to live with a horrific, degenerative condition every day, yet she is outgoing and fashionable just like any high school girl. Saki takes the clumsiness caused by her condition in stride, even going against it by taking up activites that require fine motor control such as joining the Yamaku art club, where Hisao meets her. He finds Saki an engaging but troublesome person to deal with, due to her incredibly frank and complex personality. One moment she might be giggling about the new spring fashion line, the next, stating her bitterness for her crippling illness, yet never dropping her dazzling smile. But even Saki, for all her openness, holds things inside she would never tell anyone else...
I still would have prefered Miki though.
-snip- beat me to the MLP refrence.

I don't care about her boring cross-dressing little brother or her insane dad, I want to spend more time with Shizune and Misha, stupid game.[/sp]
and that's how yamako was made this is a cleverly disguised mlp joke that I'm ashamed about understanding
It was cleverly diguised until you said it.
[sp]lilly said damnit[/sp]
and that's how yamako was made this is a cleverly disguised mlp joke that I'm ashamed about understanding
I caught it too [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] I would pay money to get saki, miki and rika in the game(assuming they were written just as well) [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] or to rephrase that I would hand over my tear soaked dollar bills to see those three added into the game

Version 2.6 of my flowchart Released! -More Symmetry! -Lilly's arc fixed! Here are the version 2.6 : (Only posting those that I've changed dramatically) Katawa Shoujo Full Flowchart by Feuver V2.6 Katawa Shoujo Act 1 V2.6 Katawa Shoujo Rin's path V2.6 Katawa Shoujo Lilly's path V2.6 The newest version of my flowchart can always be found in the OP (As soon as Banned? updates it)
Just throwing my two cents on the Lilly's path being better off for Hanako here; [sp]Should Lilly's that path be taken, Hanako won't find peace with her past for a long while. She did not let Lilly know of her orphanage time, after all, so that and the fire'll be left to depress her until end of days or until she grows a stronger spine. She'll live under constant inner conflict about things like reliance to others unless Hisao helps her grow a stronger spine. Towards the end of the path, both Hisao and Hanako are finally in a sort of peace with their past and Hanako is a lot more independent and socially braver as result, or in other words, has come out out of her shell.[/sp] This is cliche or used, maybe, but damned if it's not touching to me.
I caught it too [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] I would pay money to get saki, miki and rika in the game(assuming they were written just as well) [editline]9th January 2012[/editline] or to rephrase that I would hand over my tear soaked dollar bills to see those three added into the game
It's a shame that they quit developing after finishing the game. They might have made something off of it if they hadn't.
Can someone give me a mirror link?
/v/ is linking songs for individual characters [sp]most of them are damn good[/sp]
hey guys 4LS is making a new vn
lilly's ending holy shit, that had me in more tears than emi's

I'm glad I did it last.
Can someone give me a mirror link?
I was gonna say my upload is in the OP, but apparently its been removed... :( Anyway, here you go. Goddamit, I ended up failing at Hanako's and Emi's storylines by making them both hate me. The annoying thing is I just realised that I did the same thing to both characters to make them do that. I need to use that flowchart, man.
you're just bad with women. especially crippled ones.
They're honestly pretty predictable, I hope he was trying to fuck it up.
Also, I'm reading through the Cradle Song forums, there is an "Ask the Devs" thread, one of the posts asks about CS' inception. Apparently, the lead writer had never played (or heard of) a VN until he played the Katawa Shoujo demo. That apparently made something click and got the ball rolling. Kinda funny when you think about it, and how KS was formed. Re-posting because of bottom post last page.
