Goddamn this glitch
why does the loading times take forever why is my game getting tiny 2 secs freezes from time to time I exceed the recommended settings by far and I'm only on high
Just finished Bad Company 2's singleplayer. Damn, that was a blast.
Goddamn this glitch
What are you talking about that glitch is awesome I managed to get it on Caspian Border coming from the American spawn and I literally fucking flew across the map to the gas station.
How to win metro: Don't play Metro
Fixed for you.
why can i only find 1 populated server in NA? is there seriously no way to filter out empty servers?
the funny thing is I prefer playing on 32 player servers 64 player servers end up feeling a bit clusterfucked in a lot of situations, 32 player servers feel a lot more tactical in my opinion. I still like playing on 64 player servers when I get a chance but there really needs to be some sort of auto-balance mechanic that the game is really missing at the moment, end up losing by couple hundred tickets really often
This is what I don't get though, other games with similar gameplay styles and game modes I've never seen massive steamrolling. Yet on BF3, every single game is going to be one team with either no cap points or hardly any, while the other team slaughters everyone, causing massive landslide defeats. It's ALWAYS one sided. I'm not asking for much, but its sad when I consider a "reasonably balanced game" to be one where the losing team loses by 100 tickets. I wonder if its just because how easy it is to clanstack (but you can do that in any game really) with the squad system, or how the fact that if you have all the good unlock combos for certain vehicles you are literally a bringer of death on everyone, or how certain classes and weapon combos are really imbalanced (see: all engineers with any decent unlocks like G36, A-91, SCAR-H, etc) and the team that uses more of that class/weapon will always win, etc...
Take the scope off your rifle and go big game hunting. Long range engagements are for pansies.
Honestly its not bad, but yes - you want to get some unlocks for your sniper before you actually try sniping with it otherwise you might as well be shooting nothing. All sniper weapons are surprisingly good with just the ironsights, especially close range. If you miss the head, a couple of shots from your sidearm is a garunteed death. I personally like to take the silenced G17 with me, since it has good ammo/RoF for a pistol and can easily confuse people. Plus its silenced and looks a little bad-ass. I'd use the Rex (seeing as its basically got the same stopping power as a sniper and would one-shot anyone who I've already hit with my main gun), but my aim is too unpredictable when I use that so I end up dieing more. But once you get to the point where you are semi-comfortable sniping, try to keep yourself in medium range to your target, and only go for extended range when you have a clear/easy shot and the opportunity presents itself (i.e. seeing someone standing still at a capture point in the distance that you know you can make the shot). Always be on the move, and try to cap points too while also providing mobile spawns/recon (via SOFLAM/MAV) for your team. Not only will you have a much easier time, but you'll earn a lot more points and actually be useful to your team. Its a bad idea to just find a hill and try to "camp" it out the whole round. You should ONLY do long range sniping when the opportunity rises, DO NOT sit there and wait for that opportunity. Not only is it a huge waste of time, but you will miss most of your shots, get bored/frustraited, and be like that teammate who isn't actually on the team. You'll actively not be helping your team out and you'll make yourself a really obvious and easy to predict target. Especially against recon players like me who know all the "sniper spots" on the maps I commonly play, and love it when I can get easy kills :v:

If you play as a team and are good at this game it's pretty difficult to die or lose the round. Usually it's one group of friends vs 999 randoms who're just doing their own thing. There's all sorts of horrendously overpowered things in this game that are only accessible with teamwork.
You should ONLY do long range sniping when the opportunity rises, DO NOT sit there and wait for that opportunity.
In Gulf of Oman, the beach points are really good for this type of sniping. People are often running on open ground across to other points at a distance so it's a great spot for picking people off before they get to the point, and if they do you're not standing around unable to do anything because you're there and can help out with your sidearm / pick up someones kit. It's a really good place to start off in my opinion, only problem is there's also a lot of vehicles going about business there too.
OH MAN! My bf3 just keeps on stopping to work. And always in mid-game/combat. Anyone know how to fix?
Just tried out 1000 ticket 64p Metro and holy shit it is terrible this is not how you play this game at all.
That's a negative chief
OH... Oh well. And apparently there are co op rewarded only weapons? The mp7 apparently needs to be unlocked in co op?
Just tried out 1000 ticket 64p Metro and holy shit it is terrible this is not how you play this game at all.
Metro is more of a grinding map. You really only play it to grind levels.
Just tried out 1000 ticket 64p Metro and holy shit it is terrible this is not how you play this game at all.
Its fun! Its made of sitting back and shooting at stuff. 52 resupply ribbons and I could have had WAY more.
Bah I don't like grinding, I play this game for the game not the unlocks.
Press the players button in the server list. [editline]29th January 2012[/editline] The way the maps are and the spawn system probably has something to do with it.
it doesn't work for some dumb reason it never shows all the servers unless i start scrolling down which is down right stupid because i have to go through 100+ empty servers and there's no way to filter out empty servers which makes even less sense [editline]29th January 2012[/editline]
Bah I don't like grinding, I play this game for the game not the unlocks.
find one of the 64 metro servers that don't allow explosives and it's much better, it's like Iceworld from CS
And the number of flags.
^
The hell are you talking about, there is a way to filter out empty servers, just tick any mark under "free slots" and there you go.
Except 10+
Except 10+
That still doesn't display empty ones.
I'll never get that one.
I thought I was the only one
You just have to disarm it 4 times right? Or does it mean, defend every MCOM on the map from explosion
I'll never get that one.
Got it by accident. just place claymores near m-com.
Holy fuck... BC2 is fun when your running from building rubble to building rubble and using it as a way to ambush helicopters with the AT4. Also... I hope the next DLC includes a wireguided RPG... I miss the AT4...
Welp, since LITERALLY FUCKING NOBODY is using the soflam, despite us getting 24/7 helicopter rape, i've decided to slog through recon to unlock it. It's cool cause i can use the pp-19 and play as a team member rather than having to spend all my time on a hill 5000m away from the combat zone sniping at people spawning.
I rely on tactics from DoD:Source to use non-scoped sniper rifles as I would use the Kar98. In otherwords... Ambush, ambush, ambush... fun words.
You just have to disarm it 4 times right? Or does it mean, defend every MCOM on the map from explosion
It means you have to shoot four people as they are planting the MCOM; not in the area of, next to, PLANTING. So, you have to kill someone between the time they start planting and either finish planting or whenever they decide to stop planting and hide.
