And i'm baffled over how many idiots are running into my line of fire, and yet they bitch and complain when they die.

I had at least 20 or so ribbons by the end of the round, many of which were accuracy and flag attacker ribbons, and my total score/XP after all ribbons were calculated was [B]24,674[/B]
The secret? Other than countersniping their ONSLAUGHT of wookies with ease (seriously at least 1/3rd of their whole team was in the hills, even people who were assaults...), I just kept good aim and ran around killing people with my M40B 8X scope plus my REX, which I'm discovering is amazing, especially since it has very little spread for a pistol. Not to mention capping points, MAV'ing, holding points, etc. Generally I was a "lone wolf" in the sense that I'd put myself in the best position I could for the situation, but I'd still spawn off spawnmates, provide spawns, cover points they were capping when apropreate, etc.
For all you sniper lovers - it's not like I didn't do any sniping. My average accuracy bonus was probably around 200 or so for each kill. The thing is though, when you actively snipe instead of passively snipe (aka being a dumbass wookie sitting on some hills the whole round like half their team which I preyed on), you will dominate.

I have no fucking idea how much I should compensate for the bullet drop, I either do too much or too little

Metro is just a cluster fuck of close quarter battle which makes me feel like i'm playing call of Duty. It's so easy to get lots of kills on that map.

Just keep practicing, you'll eventually get a feel for it and be able to estimate and hit on first shots. Just don't keep changing scopes.

I'd much rather have customizable faces for both teams. Different gasmasks for RU engineers, balaclavas for the Recon/ RU assault, Asian u.s assaults, whatever. We already have various camos why not go an extra mile?

Playing Operation metro and this one enemy just freezes in mid air and can't be killed, while me and nearly my whole time just standing there trying to kill him the frozen player's squad mates keep spawning on him and trying to take us out. Has this happen to you guys?

I don't know what it is about the M40, but for some reason it's just so easy to use that gun for me - it's like an extension of my finger. I have the M98 unlocked but I don't use it despite it being the "best" sniper gun. I just can't get used to it.
If you play within your gun's strengths, bullet drop should NEVER be an issue. If you are having a hard time with bullet drop.. get closer. M40's "sweet spot" for me is around 150m-200m for the max range before I start missing more than half my shots.
I have the FXAA injector installed, but pressing Pause Break seems to have no effect, am I doing something wrong?
Aww yeah! Unlocked the L85! Spawn killed with the BMP in the god awful SQDM game mode then went to 64 player metro and got my 20 M320 kills like a pussy.
Got the jackhammer shotgun too, those DPV kills are an ass to get. I just drove up to the city objective on Gulf of Oman and parked in one and switched to the MG seat. After dying about 10 times i finally got my 5 kills, so then I just sat in the aircraft carrier for my 2 hour playtime.
I refuse to use anything other than the 4x scope on the L85.
I want it to look as close to the BF2 version as possible.

Nope. You will have two soldiers on your profile. One for each platform.
If any of your guys' idea of fun in BF3 is spamming usas 12 frag rounds on tehran highway in a window its hard to kill you in, and steamrolling the opposing team, I hope you die. That is not fun AT ALL.
