There would still be rubble etc, but think about it... Dust fills the once lush and green fields, fire spreads in the wrecked houses and the rays of the sun get blocked by the smoke... Just think about it man.

That would make a good movie, not a game. Having a completely flat map with some craters here and there and some rubble doesn't make for a good map, especially for infantry. Going pone in a crater for four minutes before a tank fires a shell in your crater and you die, or you stand up and get instantly sniped isn't fun. It was bad enough in BC2 when all the buildings got destroyed. BF3 doesn't even have good a good enough suppression system to make it immersive.
It pisses me off how removing the optics from a sniper rifle makes the spread all random. I just want to use my M39 as a battle rifle until we get our Garands back, damn it.

Finally got a decent sniper, the SV98. First kills with it were a couple of headshots at a rather decent range on moving targets on karg island and a driver + passenger on MG in a jeep. How I killed them is beyond me, but hot damn. And holy shit, I took it to the houses at the Cafe in metro. 7 kills, 6 were headshots ONLY from it and 1 was a butter knife on some guy. This thing is a beast... Btw, marksman exp count is in meters?
MAV + M98B (ACOG + Silencer (for when your MAV gets shot down)) is the only bearable loadout i can play on Metro without going into rage mode autoshotgun frag rounds/rpg.
So, so, so.. the 295 beta drivers were out today. Anyone tried them to test performance? Particularly with 560ti? I do run at 60fps on high with SSAO, some minor settings on Ultra. I prefer to keep it over that constantly but I sometimes do get the odd stutter after a while annoyingly.

It'd be great for vehicle warfare, and would encourage people not to just run out into the open. don't forget that a lot of the maps aren't just flat anyway, caspian border for example, even with everything destroyed would be just like it is now, essentially. have to hide behind hills, make smart approaches if you wanted to get anywhere rather than just full frontal charges. I can see it working, but I can also see it from your point of view.

My brother and I put around 12 C4 (I think the max is 6 per person?) and it would barely rise over 10 feet.
Anti tank mines, i think you still can have an unlimited amount with ammo packs as long as you don't die.

Any tips for killing mortars with MAV's? I just can't get them, and I'm getting much better at smashing everyone else.
