I am completely used to the way it is now, I probably won't even use it.
Sometimes the bipod just doesn't want to deploy, even on the flattest of the flat. So an optional forced-deployment key is a godsend.
M249; This baby got me through some hard rounds. Perfect killing machine, controllable amount of recoil and a high enough firing rate and damage per hit for me to kill. It's also extremely good at long range as well. All my love.
What CPU do you have? This game is very dependent on the CPU. I have a dual core and I can barely run the game on medium settings
Uhh... an AMD 3,5ghz quad core. Well still, I have serious trouble going past medium, and sometimes the shadows become fucked. ...who cares, I'm loving this thing already.
I finally got 5 wins in sqdm!
Can't wait for the new update. Bipod's get an increased speed and they are going to give the option to set a key to deploy the bipod.
Source? Don't see anything on Battlelog mentioning a upcoming patch.
Join random server, check team's, check tickets / stage / flag - map domination, look at minimap to see loads of dead blue soldiers no enemies spotted, look at squads to see 7 players not in one. Leave server Seems to be common practice for me now, spent half hour trying to find a semi decent server tonight.

Wow, thanks a lot friendly assault. [editline]6th January 2012[/editline] Guess it serves me right for trying to get blind frags with the m320 :v:
I hate how since the nerf the IR sight is basically worthless, in both vehicles and guns. Okay it was way OP before when you could literally see IR signatures from across the map, but now you can't see more than 15 feet infront - it's actually EASIER to see without it in that close of a range most of the time. I wish there was another way it could be in without being OP or useless. What is even sillier to me is the same nerf hit vehicles too - which can barely hit the broad side of a barn at long range anyways. Swapping out IR Smoke for IFR sights is terrible simply because you just can't see shit, with the added bonus of not being able to do anything about javalins either.
Personally, I'd give them a scope glint, and make the IR scope take a small bit of time to recognize heat signatures. Would make it great for finding enemies, but not running around guns blazing.
I love the 870. Especially combined with Frag Rounds.
I'm tired of not being able to chat with fellow soldiers, I applied for the BF3 group 3. Soulmemories- still mah name.
i still can't play a match without crashing

Applied for Platoon 3, Working Hazard Btw.

In multiplayer that doesn't happen... and instead you just can't see anything past 15 feet, which is an overnerf.
Could I run BF3 on: 9800gt 3gb ddr2 AMD Phenom X4 9600,quad core, 2.3ghz Ya I know It's not good.

Would BF3 and Origin being installed in my x86 Program Files folder effect anything? I notice task manager says it's running in 32 bit mode...

I wish I had a link to the scoreboard, but I was playing the other night and had a terrible KDR, I was spending so much time resupplying and capturing that I didn't get a single kill, I went 0-8, but at the end of the round I was at the top of the scoreboard of my team with a little of 5000 points because I spent so much time helping rather than killing, I felt like a team player haha
Holy fuck, I love L96's ironsights, I can't wait till I get the straight pull bolt.
Frag rounds = M320 = Most stupid thing ever
I love how my K/D ratio is totally bad, but I'm always M.V.P because I always heal/revive and arm/disarm the objectives
I'm curious, but has Battlelog grew on anyone else? I never really minded it, but now I really enjoy using it. It's pretty nice to have a real time hub of info on how and your friends are doing, and pretty much any issues that I had with the server browser is gone now.

I always have battlelog on the other one. It's great!
I don't use it because all of my friends play CoD, my only friend who plays BF3 is usually on chat with me and he always gives me a recap on his sessions when we hang out.
I miss The FP server
I'm lonely not being able tot talk to soldiers in my squad without using that god awful voice system. Why doesn't BF3 have in game voice chat? I'm probably going to spam the thread tomorrow in search of people to squad up with. I had a blast with some random squaddies earlier today, operation firestorm 64 man. We held off the Americans from the construction yard for the entire match. I'd disable tanks with my RPG, and then run around the containers constantly popping them with rockets, and if I failed there was another squaddie in the building. There was a support with us who kept throwing down ammo, and the last squaddie was constantly coming back and forth between the offices and construction yard in a heli.
Just some random video I made.
I would have shat my pants if I was the sniper in the end.
Some people are saying that a clean install of the game has fixed crashes for them... I really don't want to reinstall and download those updates...
