That would be pretty awful even if it was possible
i remember when project reality had a 128 player test server
it was fucking horrible even on maps far bigger (up to 4x4km) than the ones in BF3 (one-ish square km)

That was my reaction when I switched my 8800 gt to a 560.
Also, server went from 24/24[4] to 14/24 when we switched to B2K.
I really need to get that fucking expansion.

Except I'd probably had to change my CPU aswell... E8400 core2duo 3.0ghz that flies to 100ºC when I play BF3.

You're forgetting resolution. Why the fuck are you guys always forgetting resolutions!? Don't dictate how he performs compared to you without THAT data. It makes you look really stupid.
I get 60 FPS with those settings at 1680 by 1050 on a 560 Ti. My only problem are hard freezes and other bullshit thanks to shit stability.

I play it on medium, 2x AA (or whatever it was), HBAO, 800x600... What else... Think thats all.
I play it okish... Graphics always look good, even on medium, only the jagged edges sometimes get to you, but other then that, its ok. Even the last part of the game that reminds me of Crysis 2 (because of the lights and bla bla bla) looked good on medium. And thats with a 9600 GT.
