You cannot run ultra at 1920x1080. With a 560 ti.
Running BF3 at 1920*1080 res ultra, 2x MSAA, HBAO with 35-55 fps on my GTX 560 Ti. I lowered the res to 1680*1050 though to get 50+ fps constant, I'm okay with that res.

No shit, but I can with 1680x1050 which seems plenty big for me. I plan to SLI in the next few months though.. As long as I get a better screen than this shitty cibox one v:v:v

Please can you tell me what you get with SSAO and 2x AA instead of HBAO? That's usually a performance killer, then see what you get with SSAO and 0 AA, then finally both turned off? Be interesting to see what gain you get.
the hard brake is useless most of the time, but when the enemy has shit AA it's a godsend

In my book that makes you look really stupid. That resolution is neither the minimum or maximum of anything ever. What makes you conclude that Ultra would be that resolution? Why am i the stupid one when you're the one just assuming things?

Guys, guys, guys. we have a group who like their 1024x768's and another group with their 1920x1080's. Let's just call the average 1680x1050!
Also did amazingly well as sniper with my new m40b on top of the firestorm gas tanks, took out an entire squad like 3 times in a row within the span of a minute with constant headshots, fuck yes.
Only issue is some other sniper killed me and then "stole" my perch", which I was unable to get back seeing as he was much higher leveled than I and thus had all the easy unlocks.
Biggest problem with firestorm is that there are literally no good places to get LOS on someone wtihout having to get rid of the scope entirely, or sitting back and watching the grass grow on top of some stupid hills where you are usless. It's basically a pure CQ map, as the only non-close quarters area are just flat open ground or are all the way in the background on some hills where you will never be effective.
As much as I like taking scopes off, the pull bolt snipers are terrible at anything but sniping until you get the straight pull bolt and some non-ironsights sights... which doesn't happen until after 60 kills or so. And firestorm is terrible at doing effective sniping because the only good spot is on the tanks, which is super obvious and very restricting (you can't exactly move around and be a good sniper).
It didn't help I was soflaming and literally nobody used it.

Did something kinda like that, tried using the pp-19 to see if I was wrong and it didn't suck, ran out of ammo after killing absolutely no one, ran around for five minutes asking for ammo, didn't get any, knifed five people, purposely got myself killed.

As in, the sun provides no light, everything is pure black except the blue sky, you can only see silhouettes. When people shoot or stand near fire/artificial lighting you can see the coloured textures.
Just got acuracy ribbon and aim king in the stats
i was using 6x scope on the 870 with slugs.
Edit: and got my my furthest headshot distance too
Player location should be added to the google doc spreadsheet so that I don't end up adding someone halfway around the world.

Huh. I've started using the javelin and no one uses smoke to counter it. I always go around with smoke equipped in tanks...
This is just the normal javelin, no SOFLAM lock.

Holy shit I am loving the M40B. Took a little getting used to but it's like... if I so choose, I can will a headshot on you with it. So much easier to land hits where you want them to. Was top 3 on my team with 20ish kills on a 32player kharg server. I managed to kill a whole squad that was capping a point I was near with my G17 pistol too, by crouch spamming :D
Can't wait till I get straight pull bolt on it though. I'm surprisingly good with it meduim range too even with a 12x scope. Was pretty much running between Army Outpost, Construction site and the general surroundings all game silencing my poor prey.
Kharg Island is easily the best map. It's small and fast paced, but still keeping the BF3 element in it.
