You could in BC2 if I recall. Which is kind of weird, but spawning on your squad usually led to instant death anyway.
you can't spawn on your squadmates because dice is fucking retarded and you can be put on the same team as your 'squad mates' but not actually within the squad itself
Windowed mode?
Alt+Enter.
Doesn't do anything, I have to end it in task manager.
Still says i'm playing in the game manager though...
No idea what's wrong with it, just played for an hour and then it crashed 5 minutes from the end of the game, annoying the shit out of me!
I applied to join, I'm BobTheChainsaw. Just got the game.

Okay that is pretty fucked then. I mean, same team isn't so bad, but having to then sort your squad out wastes time.
Yay, new thread!
you can't spawn on your squadmates because dice is fucking retarded and you can be put on the same team as your 'squad mates' but not actually within the squad itself
at least it's not like the alpha/beta where the squad spawning was entirely broken and you couldn't even choose your squad. dice is still fucking retarded though.
I wish there were more maps similar to current modern day conflicts. I want big urban cities that are claustrophobic, filled with alleyways and buildings you can actually enter...
Sorta like this.

by the way if you guys are still trying to get Professional Russian, go on a Metro 24/7 server because you can just rack up grenade kills for no reason. i got 23 m320 kills in one match.

you can't join the squad in squad dm if you're not in it
I'm not sure if I like the MG36 better than my PKP yet...
Sweet, new thread!

I almost unlocked this but instead of a knife kill I tried to kill an enemy with the blowtorch, failing.
[editline]3rd January 2012[/editline]
I did it! Unlocked that and G53!
the pkp on canals is fucking hilarious, it just rapes everything if you're in the containers
maybe it's just me but davamand peak is just a god awful map
every match i've played on that piece of shit devolves into a sniper fest with the attackers utterly destroying the defenders
How can you fail at COOP? Me and a friend played it without talking to each other and finished it on hard.
and it took you two tries? for me and the random motherfucker it took 2 tries and then he quit. first try was very good though. the first mission, on hard.
but the chat would be good really.. or just focus on killing everything?

Everyone would complain that its generic.
[editline]2nd January 2012[/editline]
Although they do that regardless so whatever.
man i fucking hate games where the eyes "first person" are on the helmet and not where the eyes are in third person, this is why we're getting shot by people's forehead who's hiding behind a fucking hill and never fucking see the faggots.

Meh, I cant really say its generic. I mean what other games have anything like that? MW2 and 3 had maps that were a bit like it but not to any Bf3 standards. It's not generic, jsut realistic and interesting IMHO.
I just fail to see why people find it necessary to make ignorant remarks about the most irrelevant of points as an attempt to look cool on the internet, All I did was post a battlefield 3 video, yet somehow, a couple of smart bastards feel the need to pick on tiny points to boost there ego. when all I was doing was helping out a friend, Im not trying to say they cant have an opinion, I just Dont see the need to over-exaggerate stupid points.
Too bad that 1) I don't give a shit about ego 2) I was giving an actual tip. What's the fun of watching a jet montage if you can't hear the bloody birds?
So how about you actual read into that instead of saying "ooh ooh trying to boost their ego :downs:", like ego even matters on the freaking internet.
p.s. if you think that was a tiny irrelevant point then I'm sorry sir but just no.

Something like that would be too tight imo. People would constantly be running the rooftops raining hell on anyone who touched the streets.
Who else uses all-kit weapons to level up...well...kits? I used 870 for a while to level up my Recon.

I use MP7 to level up recon and support, mostly because I can't snipe/use an LMG to save my life.

I used the PDW-R for a long time. 11 service stars with it.

Too many colors. Needs to be more blue and gray.
aa guns need to be more squishy or the guided missile needs a buff.. this is fucking ridiculous
Just played a round of 64 player 150 ticket rush on Seine crossing, before that it was Caspian then it brought the horror of Spam from all the cheap shit upon me, i braced myself to leave but for some reason i gave it a shot.
I went 24 - 1 defending and i personnally take credit for holding the staircase mcom station and winning us the game, i parked my mav in the windows of one of the non enterable houses on the ramp to the right of spam staircase, every single guy that came through that way was mowed down by me or my team mates cause they we're highlighted behind us, best thing was they couldn't stop and shoot back, retreat or run for cover cause they were in the "leaving combat zone" area, they had to get back into the map, i sware to god at least 40 of them died in that small tunnel.
Then they brought the LAV round the back, but one of my mates lobbed a single c4 out, the LAV took a fatal hit slowing it to a crawl, it was hillarious knowing the driver was gonna die and surrender the LAV to us and all he could do was try and limp into the safe zone, 5 guys died at the same time from suicide in that LAV, from that point on with them bleeding tickets and without their LAV it was game over really.
Did not stick around to attack on that map.
From the ammount of explosions i heard i think i actually have shellshock.

That kind of gameplay works better in more tactical games like Rainbow Six and America's Army, but with BF3 with it's very fast-paced and somewhat arcade-like gameplay, it would just end up as you said - basically Sine Crossing mixed with Metro.
