I wouldn't necessarily say this. F-35s can be very good for air-to-ground support mostly due to the VSTOL capabilities if you know how to use it right (and if you have rocket pods or guided missiles, which really helps in taking down vehicles). However, never ever try to dogfight with a Flanker-E unless you have the jump on them, because they can outmaneuver you very easily. The best thing you can do is fly low and try to avoid them.
I want to see Road to Jalalalalalalalabad remade but it probably won't happen. Was one of my favourite maps especially when inf only.
So I installed the FXAA tweak and I see literally no difference with it installed and with it not installed.
Did I do something wrong?

Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but the maps, almost all of them are extremely bland. Especially the Rush maps, can only run through the desert with nothing but random rocks and hills to go to a city so many times.
So, as a test, I decided to make a profile on low to see how it would play.
Holy jesus. I see no difference and I can actually play now.
On metro with 16vs16 full combat, I get steady 30s.

Lately I've been using different firing modes. Mostly because AEK's spread is so wide. I love being able to snipe people with my assault rifle.
M16A4/Bipod/Heavy Barrel/Rifle scope (or ACOG) in single shot is lethal at range, I've even counter-sniped enemies using SV98s with it successfully, provided I'm in position before they fire at me. Gonna try the same with the L85, I imagine it'll be much better.

I'm unsure about this but don't you need 500 kills with a certain weapon before you get it's counter dog tag? How do you have it with only 43?

It starts counting after you get the tag doesnt it?
Like, I got like 100 or 500 headshots with the Ak74 or whatever before I got the counter tag.. and it came up as like 2 or something..

Happened to me more than one occasion. Especially since I bolted their heads with some shotgun 12g slugs.
Two "kids" wrote in chat that "you can't headshot people with a shotgun, that far away".

You just have to practice I guess, I had difficulty to begin with until I got the flares. My friend had similar issues but having had lots of practice I unlocked the first 4 unlocks for him within a few minutes.
The main thing to work on is figuring out how to turn properly - most people can't do this and it helps a lot. Hold S as you enter a turn and then afterburn out of the apex. Repeat until you're behind them. The other thing to do is stay the fuck away from the enemy AA. Even with every unlock you still get fucked up by that.
A message for all noobito jet pilots... If you can't fly a jet please don't fucking use the A-10 in Rush. Thank you <3
So I was walking to the metro the other day, when I turned a corner and was completely blinded by the sun. Guess BF3 wasn't exaggerating too much after all.

I don't understand why servers activate friendly fire, but it is a bannable offense. Why not just turn it off to avoid the hassle? Also I hate when you accidentally kill someone on your team and then they have a grudge against you for the rest of the match and hunt you down killing you over and over again.
Edit: I forgot to mention that they send you hate messages for days after the match.

Good advice if it wasn't for the fact that 80% of all piolets in servers now a days are the pro type who have joysticks and do nothing in BF3 but play with jets, with over 100 hours playing BF3 in only jets
I've found that most servers I join tend to have at least one or two of these types of players against me. When this happens, its impossible to do anything in the air. Because the moment you try to do anything, they'll pinpoint snipe you with chainguns in 2 seconds, and if you manage to somehow get behind them they'll pull off normally impossible stunts like doing pinpoint turns around obsticles (because they use that "handbrake" command that you can only get via a utility you download).
Basically if you join a server mid-game and you see your jets just always sitting in spawn, don't bother flying. Chances are there's a career jet pilot on the other team that will always decimate you, so your entire team just doesn't bother. Be glad they have very little ground offense capability at least.

I got accused of wall hacking when I kept killing people hiding behind walls with my tank (with proximity scanner). :v:

Ah I guess, I just do that without thinking about it. Although It's only really helpful in the first half second of a turn or turning downward.

I got on a Rush server on Metro (xbox), we were attackers with 10 tickets left.
I knew I was pretty much useless to the team so I spawned as a recon with a L96. Went over a hill, seen a guy in the distance, he shoots at me and misses and than I head shot kill him.
Game ends like 20 seconds later, he sends me a message saying "play the fuckin objective. theres tdm if u just want to snipe".
I finished 1-0, awesome camping skills I have :|
