These B2K weapons are very nice but goddamn that squad deathmatch challenge was hard without any friends to play with. I'd always get matched up with some lvl 10 or below chimps

Yes, you could. You're activating the game, not the PC. I did the same when I wanted a game I had (but disk broke), so I bought it on Steam and dragged the folder across. Steam just skipped the download. If you can find the right folder for BF3 then sure.

Origin games, then I should be fine and only have to download the 4gb patch, which is ALOT better than having to download the whole game...

It only took me about 8-9 rounds of SQDM to do the L85 assignment, while using the M320 too.
