I doubt it will happen they say the same thing for every suggestion someone sends them on twitter.
I just posted the idea in the forum wishlist. Doubt it will happen, but just knowing that it is possible is nice.
Search for "Flugschule" (German server). Unfortunatly, there are always some idiots joining it and instantly trying to kill you with the AA. Seems like they totaly understand what "Flight School" means :(
Edit: It was this one -> http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/servers/show/67d9014b-e5dd-4dd6-96df-669d8c85473f/Flugschule-1-player-start-by-ngz-server-de/
But for testing some special flight-maneuvers, any unranked server will do i guess.
I'm about to get on this if anyone wants to join!
I have been trying to search for a stencil of the Battlefield 3 guy on the cover anyone know of a good place to find one? I can't seem to find anything decent.
I wish there were more maps similar to current modern day conflicts. I want big urban cities that are claustrophobic, filled with alleyways and buildings you can actually enter...
Sorta like this.

I want more nighttime ones. They seem better made.
I want snow maps. Who doesn't like snow maps?
I hate snow, so that would be me. But fuck, playing on a snow map would be better than crashing all the time.

They're more interesting too, and it's easier to hide.
Checked my event viewer. Would this help me figure out my issue?
Oh, and I'm using the settings Panimalas posted in the other thread a little recently.
The FXAA-plugin is primarly designed for use with later generation graphics cards. I use a GTX570. I can't really help you. :C
Since it's a new thread I might as well repost my FXAA settings.

Put the content within the .rar inside your main Battlefield 3 directory (with the .exe). Whenever you start the game (join a server) the changes take effect. To disable the modification, remove the .dll or all the files.
There is a very small hit on FPS (in my estimation a 5% FPS hit), since there is anti aliasing included (I'm unsure if you gain performance by disabling the anti aliasing in the settings file). This is however VERY optimized for what it brings. Be sure to turn off "Anti Aliasing Post" in the in-game settings for it to work best.
For those who want to edit the settings themselves:
Open up "injFX_Settings.h" located in the main folder with any text editor, there you can edit most things regarding color grading, sharpness, anti aliasing and the vignette (the dark frame effect). Reddit user mrradicaled has most things covered when it comes to editing the FXAA settings.

For those worried about PB bans:
This .dll injects into the multiplayer game, and is therefore detectable by punkbuster, but detectable as a cheat? Not yet has anyone gotten banned for using this, and a DICE developer recently tweeted that neither they nor punkbuster are actively looking to get people to stop using the FXAA-plugin. I myself have logged more than 20 hours of playtime with the FXAA-plugin on, with many of those hours being me actively changing settings and tabbing out and into the game. I'm confident the FXAA will continue to be allowed for use, but you never know.
Went with the SKS with no scope unlocked the Chinese sniper rifle.
Hey, I tried this game on a friend's PS3 a couple days ago. We had no internet connection up there, but I really liked the campaign thus far (especially the first sky mission, that was rad).
Now, I was thinking of buying it (on PC) and I wanted to ask you folks if it's really worth the 50 Euros price tag, and if Origin is really the unholy demon I've been warned about.
Thanks in advance.

Origin is fine, Nothing revolutionary or special, but it's not the Demon hellspawn of gaming.
I'm still trying to unlock the rifle L85a2 or whatever anyway near the end of the match in sqdm my squad has 49 points so does the other I'm running towards and enemy I saw then bam he turns around and head shots me. :v: I need two more wins. I can't seem to fucking win!

Any weird shit I should be warned about, like if there's the chance it will steal my credit card and undo my purchase without warning?

It's fine. People only dislike it because it's worse than steam in every way.
It's fine. People only dislike it because it's worse than steam in every way.
Best thing about it is that since not many people use it, I get brilliant download speeds, which are far better than steam.
It's amazing when you have a teammate who acts as a designated spotter with the soflam. I had a match on Oman where we had one guy set up on the top of one of the construction site cranes. Whenever a vehicle came in his soflam sight a few seconds later you'd see a mass of javelin shots arc towards the vehicles. We were like the Persians at Thermopylae with the amount of explosives that we launched through the sky. Pretty much only jets could get close to his position.
Yeah but just imagine the attackers, it must be pretty fucking frustrating.
But those kinda games where Attackers can't seem to get through can be countered with a single better squad that just goes Infantry-unnoticed sneak and plants the objective or whatever.
Seriously, the screen shots all look fine, but playing the map actually just makes me a little exhausted, it's ridiculously washed out and bright, making the maps really bland and look worse than they actually are. Actually, that's my problem with a ton of maps on this game, even if they actually are detailed. A lot of the maps are like barren wastelands, even in urban areas. This problem could easily be fixed in post processing to make things stand out.
It is like they didn't even attempt unique colour correction, forcing everything to be in almost one colour instead of making what should stand out... stand out. It makes the game extremely ugly. This is weird, because the problem isn't on every map, the greener maps still have issues, but are a vast improvement. Just a little more saturation and the game would be far more pleasing visually.
Actually, it's what's making the game look washed out. Look at this old demonstration of Damavand : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ekktuRD5ao&feature=channel_video_title#t=4m54s
The last steps are :
lensflares and glare : a bit annoying but why not
bloom : starting to wash out
final color grading : are you kidding me ?
So if you remove the last two steps, the game looks pretty and colourful.

Admittedly, if bloom is implemented correctly, the effect is very nice, but very few modern shooters implement it nicely, and instead it just washes the colours out in favour of a slightly more interesting light effect.

Also, we should probably have a FXAA Injector section in the OP, so we don't have to dig through the thread. Just a warning about it not being confirmed safe, but nothing has come of it yet, and a explanation of how to use it or something.
Attack Helicopter service star number one! Fuck yeeah.
I think my 5770 is acting up or something. Or it's BF3.
On beta and just after release. My GPU temp was at 60-70 celsius and everything was fine and dandy and I got good fps rates.
Now the card barely goes over 50 celsius and it's laggy as shit.
I am confuse.
I haven't played in a while, so this might be a stupid question, but have they changed/fixed that thing with the light where even in completely dark areas your character would still be lit up?

I'm using an 8800gt, but I fixed it anyway. I had to download a modified shader.hlsl file and that was that.
The game keeps on crashing! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
