They're going to announce BF2 HD for all the die hard vets who hate BF3 with a passion.
I hope they will focus a lot on effects for BF2143. The explosion effects in BF3 (referring mostly to planes here) are amazing and it will be awesome to see that in a futuristic world with possibly different colored explosions, lasers, and other things that gives an awesome feel. I love sci-fi effects.

I'd love to see how they pull off both the hovertank and the titans. I'm expecting super bright giant spotlights on the underside of the titans.
I'm interested to see how they change things, for example the unlocks since the way it is know is an exaggerated load of bull.
Flying a Mi-28, suddenly a MAV appears. It bumps into me and the whole helicopter explodes. The MAV is still flying.

Well, i just updated my pbsetup in the BF3 folder in C:/programfiles/origingames and i believe they have managed to "fix" the problem.
For the time being i am able to play again.

Took a journey back to my BF games. Only 3 servers still existing on BF2142. BC2 is still quite popular. But I was greeted with a troll on the server I decided to play on. Was going to play BF2, but I was too lazy to download it

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that some of the attachments do not much at all; like the laser sight.

You can test that one easily. Go to an empty server equip something with the laser and turn it off and on by pressing T. It makes a HUGE difference on the MP7

You don't really use the lasersight for the blinding aspect.

Can someone explain to me what the point of the blinding attachments are?
Whenever someone uses one while shooting at me, all it does is decrease my reaction time to get my sights locked on them.
Not to mention the fact that I occasionally forget to turn them off when in mid to long range combat situations which just acts like a giant neon sign saying "free kill for recons".

I cant even play BF3 because of PB
I have reinstalled BF3, PB, updated both, and more multiple times and I have achieved nothing. EAs support is the most awful support system I have ever contacted.

Can you link to the battle report in question? Nothing in his stats really indicates cheating.
