I was pleasantly surprised aswell, because even though it had everything on low and only the rez was maxed, it ran increadibly smoothly on that map with the canal and a bridge in the center.
And the best thing is that it still looks great. I'd say as great, or maybe even greater than games like crysis 2.
I just love its colors. I'm glad I got the game and thought it would run like ass, but so far the only problem I had with it was that it didn't start up and kept asking for an update. I reinstalled using that "reinstalling fix" thing that corrects and adds missing files and it was good to go.
I suck at this but I love it.
Not sure about anyone else but i managed to fix PB kicks. Just checking for updates with their tool did nothing, but actually [url=http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe]uninstalling PB[/url] by itself, then reinstalling it and only then checking for updates for BF3 helped. I also rebooted after uninstalling.
Does anyone with an ATi Radeon card get major stuttering after being killed a few times? My game keeps pausing and resuming while I am playing after I die a few times, so I was wondering if anyone had this problem as well.

64 players on Noshir is intense as fuck. Feels like an actual war, seeing as I was able to be a good team member by simply holding it off by the crates trying to fend off an approaching army as shit was going down everywhere. That map plays really nice with large player counts despite it being so small.
While other maps like caspian almost seem to suffer from high player counts since all the players will be amassed at 1-2 major points.

64 player hardcore on Grand Bazaar is actually pretty fun. Super hectic, not too many camping spots, and you actually don't die that often because there's no spotting so people don't automatically know where you are at all times.

I seem to get this randomly, sometimes it will freeze for as long as 5 seconds at a time, generally on high population servers early in the match before I've even died once. It doesn't happen often but it's usually at VERY inopportune times. It also only started doing this recently. HD 5770
am i the only one who's having their gun disappearing/reappearing and also the same for my allies/teammates
its seriously starting to annoy the fuck out of me b/c i bought this game for 60 dorrow and yet its practically unplayable because of this
Had two more hackers in 64 metro today then while in bf3 my computer crashed then on start up crashed again. So I didn't get to report them :(.

F2000 is my [I]favorite[/I] gun still. Even after I unlocked the other weapons.

Battlefield games have always had the most satisfying explosions for me. It's extra awesome if you turn your bass all the way up :v:
I prefer the dawn of war 2 explosions in terms of sound though, holy fuck the bass physically moves my headphones.

I can understand the use at low levels, helps you unlock guns faster.. but I'm a colonel, dont need any awards or stats or w/e
Headphones are dumb, if you want splosions without blowing your eardrums get 7.1 audio with a discrete sound card. ( and 3 monitors).
