CS:GO made me lose faith in the Source engine.
wow so you've played it? care to tell us what it's like?
The visuals are shit, theres nothing different it's still CS. They're just trying to make more money. Rate me dumb as much as you want because you're VALVe fanboys but their engine is shit(compared to every other engine out there) and they just showed us why.
. Rate me dumb as much as you want because you're VALVe fanboys.
I'm just going to rate you dumb because you used that shitty reasoning.

It's alright, though, we'll just enjoy the game without you. Besides: Isn't this Half-life discussion? Anyone else curious what Alyx will look like as an updated model? I found the models eerily real to begin with. Not sure what they can do to them now.

Protip in the future, don't judge something before you've tested it yourself. It will only make you look like an idiot.
I love how you think VALVe is trying to get money out of you
Which is funny because they ARE a corporation after all. They're a business, their main goal is profit. The only thing that sets them apart from other companies like Activision is the fact that they (for the most part) care about their community and listen to them.
fuck you i clicked that thinking it was a link to some video of half-life 3 evidence but it was porn
fuck you i clicked that thinking it was a link to some video of half-life 3 evidence but it was porn
Half-Life 3 evidence on Pornhub? I wish!
Wow get a load of this guy. Protip in the future, don't judge something before you've tested it yourself. It will only make you look like an idiot.
there's gameplay footage out there and it looks crap. you people are idiots for thinking that it will magically look better on release or while playing it for yourself. the source engine sucks and unless they rewrite big sections of the code it will stay that way. i won't buy episode three if it keeps the crappy source engine look and that's how people outside of valve fan pages think as well.

ITT: Facepunch further proves it generally can't distinguish blatantly ironic posting from straight-faced idiocy.
Half-life: Crowbar Offensive
Know what would be cool? for the announcement they go to major cities in America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America, and actually do a real life ARG. Valve employees would put clues and missions across the cities and at the very end all they find is a crowbar with a small lambda logo on it(or something better). I think that would be the most original and exiting way to announce HL3, letting the fans be apart of the announcement.
I can assure all of you: it won't take longer than Duke Nukem Forever. :v:
Yes let's give crazed Half Life fans weapons, I love it!
It would be funny. A bunch of nerd-sized folks thinking they can swing a crowbar as Gordon does in HL1.
It would be funny. A bunch of nerd-sized folks thinking they can swing a crowbar as Gordon does in HL1.
I can, I tried it once in a store. Not as fast as him, but still.
America is not a Contenant (It's two continents), but North America is! :D
I don't get how you managed to misspell continent, and then somehow manage to get it right in the same sentence. :pwn:
Of course you won't buy Episode 3 because it's NEVER coming out.
EP3/HL3 will come out. And when It does, it will be beautiful.

Then a redesigned lambada logo and combine propaganda appear on the screens, followed by three images from the game.
