God fuck shit damn it. If they add Ichthyosaurs back, I'm not playing. And if I do, I'm throwing my computer out of the window when I get to water. I am [i]terrified[/i] of water in games, ever since playing Tomb Raider and Atlantis as a kid. The teleportation bit at the start of Half-Life 2 was enough for me. I just don't like being underwater in games because it's harder to see and monsters can come at you from any direction. I especially hate sharks, because they are scary motherfuckers.

The Combine have extensive control outside of City 17, since they also control all the other major cities, networks and routes.

They had a homeworld. Breen mentions it but it's in a different dimension which is completely different to ours.
Crab synths and mortar synths. They should be in EP3.

Yeah, but they clearly don't/didn't control wherever the Borealis is (Or else they wouldn't have had to brain fuck Eli to find the location), so there could still be some Xen wildlife hidden away around that area.
So I dreamed last night that me and three of my friends were touring valve(we actually did a few weeks ago, it was fun), and we met up with Gabe in his office. He would easily get mad over the smallest things as we were talking with him. A little later, he started showing me something on his computer. On the screen, there was a list of folders. At the top was "Episode 1" and "Episode 2". Further down the list, I saw "Episode 3". He opened a list of options on it, and selected delete.

Hl1, Op4, you CAN in HL2, but you have to be so far out in the ocean or something. I don't recall if they're in BS.

They were originally going to be in HL2. If the player swam out far enough they would attack to "Scare" the player back to shore, aswell as being in Ravenholm's harbour.
They were cut and replaced with the Leeches instead, leaving only the teleporter scene.
If I remember right, going out to the ocean area via noclip might allow you to find the Ichthyosaur and it actually swims around with AI. But that was probably just a Garry's Mod SNPC video, so i've got no clue how valid that is.
Didn't they cut them out of the oceans because players would try and fight them?
Which doesn't make sense. If I'm swimming and that motherfucker comes up to me, I don't try and kill it.

I want race x, You might not think its canon, but you have no proof. If valve added it, its canon, if not, its up to us to decide. I decide for myself that its canon.
I want Shephard, I mean G-Man certainly had some sort of purpose for him since he put him in the same kind of stasis he put Gordon.
