Episode 3 ends with Gordon jumping in a combine portal, followed by a to be continued message, with Valve announcing Half-Life 3 in 2020.
Episode three ends with a portal opening that sucks in the Borealis, and then it pops up in the Combine dimension, where the ship comes crashing down at the main citadel as Gordon rides the disintegrating hulk as it explodes into pieces, crashing straight into a new adventure.

Gordon is in a tightly packed place with boxes and crates everywhere. He only has a crowbar (which is a much better weapon than what it used to be) and needs to ambush all of the new combine hunting him in the dark (who cant drop weapons
a rebel base is surrounded by combine and the player is in a vehicle. he should circle the base and run over and shoot all the combine as he passes
Gordon escorts a garg around a combine base. Sounds fun?
Another chase seen like the first level of hl2 were you get chased by metrocops or a like in episode 2 with the antlion guardian ( i forced my 10 year old brother to play that bit. It was funny)

Gordon rushes towards a lonely combine watchguy, smacks him fair and square in the face destroying tthe gasmask and breaking his jaw and sends teeth flying in the process.
Gordon then takes the combine's SMG and goes all

Can someone make a thread that's only content is definitive information about episode 3, rather than all this musing? I mean musing is fun, but it would be nice to have a place where all the facts are put together.
I would make one myself except I'm certain that it would get like 50 Dumb ratings, though it might not if it were someone with some amount of reputation here.

The problem is that the only information that we have is 2 leaked pictures, and some files in the Alien Swarm SDK and Dota 2 beta that [I]might[/I] have to do with ep3 based on their abbreveated filenames [I]maybe[/I].

Nope. It's been confirmed that the ep3 abbreviations actually meant 'Environmental Protection 3' Valve's new environmental awareness project to stop using computers because they use electricity; which is a waste.
