I hope they fix the engine so it doesn't take 5 years to compile a fucking map, while in Cryengine it takes around 2 seconds.

I beleive another way Episode 3/HL3 would be announced is that while Gabe is having a speech, everything electronic turns off, people dressed in metro police and combine soldier outfits drop down from the roof by sliding down ropes, then after they are done landing some basic lights turn back on, as well as a few spot lights, and they are pointed at Gabe. Along with the SMG's that the Metro Police are armed with and the combine guards are armed with OICW's.

Then you hear G Man's Voice saying" Mr.Newell, you haven't forgotten about.....US have you?"
Gabe stutters while saying this (acting to be afraid) "Uuuuhhhh, no i haven't forgotten about you or the combine G-man."

"No, Newell, You haven't forgotten about the "[I]Special Announcement[/I]" you were going to make today have you?"

Newell continues to stutter saying the next thing, especially since he hears the guns clicking from safety mode to armed, "No i haven't, uuuuhhhhh, i know that i was about to go off stage and take a break and silently post the trailer on Valve's youtube channel, But if you, uuuuuuhhhh, really want me to, i......can........ play the trailer now?"

The guns that the combine hold are clicked back into safety mode. Then G-man says "Very well, since, it IS better than suddenly informing your fans, but since we know it is only on your laptop....we will have to drag you back stage to start it, this time, make sure there is [b]no[/b] blue screen of death, we dont want angry fans like last year when you were [i]going[/i] to show Portal 2."

Then some combine drag gabe off the stage, and the other combine run off to the back of the stage, then the episode 3 trailer plays, its a 3 minuet long SFM trailer.

Then gabe is pushed back on stage by the combine, they leave the stage, and G-man says "Now you may go ahead and finish your speech, Mr. Newell"

Gabe says thank you, takes some questions from the audience or talks about CS:GO's development how the first week of the beta has been going, then leave.

All the audience members, are stunned.

TL:DR Gman and the combine force gabe to play the episode 3/HL3 trailer in the middle of his speech rather than have him post it silently on their youtube channel.

EDIT: He also mentions that the Christmas TF2 Update will be out in 2 days as he leaves the stage, just as a little bonus to make the tf2 fans happier.
