If all these rumors are leading up too Half Life 2: Episode 3 reveal I feel proud knowing that I stated back on the CS:GO thread that Valve may be using CS:GO as a distraction to draw our attention too it, and then release HL2:E3 trailers to get huge hype.
Best case scenario
Everything goes dark at VGA. Hear a single voice "Is it really that time again Dr.Freeman?"
And then *boom* EP3/HL3 pans out on the screen.
If Episode 3 IS released in 2012, it will be the THIRD game Valve releases next year.
It will come out on 3/3/2012

Hell, I'd think it would be epic if everything goes dark and all we hear is "Is it really that time again Dr. Freeman?" and those are the VGAs.

I had way more trouble with the Water Temple in that game.

I'm pretty sure they're streaming it on their website this year.
Some of the Potato Pack games have downloaded small updates with no changelog today. I can personally confirm that Super Meat Boy and Killing Floor have, and I've read that The Ball, Defense Grid, and Bit.trip.beat have as well.
