I really hope that they will make a new source engine. Like a source engine 2.0 or something. Would explain the delay. But after all gabe said that he wanted to make a "Oranger" box and that it will have a new counter strike in it if he got enough emails saying that he needed to make a new CS:S.

Half Life 2 episode 3 is the last episode of the Half Life 2 series but it is still not sure if they will make a Half Life 3 afterwards.. Hope that cleared your mind :)
I was thinking the other day, how can the Half Life series end? Then I started thinking about chemistry and I remember that the Half Life of a substance has no end. So could that be a hint saying that the ending to the series will be open and not a definite close?

Half-life 2 episodes 1 though 3 are half-life 3. Its confusing, but true. The places explored in the episodes were areas cut from half-life 2. If they make more half-lifes it'll be like GTA, A few Half-life : <Whatever>,
before Half-life 4, IF they ever make it.

Anyway, I'm more excited about portal 2.
alyx and gordan make their way to the Borealis only to find that a new alien species have taken it. they are humanoid beings on a search for resources through the galaxy that all for some reason are clones of piers morgan and have the voice of the robot thing in portal. you storm their homeworld (morgania) with the vortigaunts help and after the kickass battle that ensues alyx nearly dies but gman saves her because u find out right at the end that gman is working for freeman from another reality where the combine were destroyed by a bomb but it destoyed xen aswell as earth and freeman mark 2 wants u to help him rebuild economy but the only way to do that is for the gman to help freeman mark 1 kill combine and get the Borealis to open a portal between dimensions.
this is what WILL happen.

Every fan-boy know it'll be like this:
so - yo are sittning in the funeral when the combines raid starts, like a previus maember said. so you shot the combines and alyx becomes a mad. she sais cmon grodon lets go to broealis and win the war for the humans. so you travel to the Broealis whic has gunships and dropship on the way as well as a flying combines soldiers. so you explode them all and are badass and alyx goes all like cool gordan that rocked yuo realy can [b]fuck shit up[/b] high five!
your fun soon ends however was the combines lunch their new, secret weapon which can do very bad things to peoples. so the helicopter flals and it is deestroyd as you and alex jump out in last second in a kikass fashion into the snow. alyx smiles at you but then suddenly the ground beneath you craks and you fall in an ice cave where there are monsters and a ice akse. alex sais from the top of the cave entrance that she catn reach you, and you have to go on alone as she will find a rebel settlementet.
so you proceed into the caves with only a ince axe and you soon start to see reflectiones against the caves walls which are from ice as the monsters round around. grodon soon descovers that these monsters are only ice ant-lions and you kill them with axe whihc makes big antlion angry and so he rushes at you but you evade and he busts open a wall which you can escape into the outside where there is a storm but a corpse with a weapon.
the storm picks on as you continue through the baren wasteland in search of alyx and the broalis. you son find a rebel hidout in which there are no alive as everyone is an headcrab infested. you batle trough them all as you discover an ski sledge which you use with a map to fin d the next rebel base which knows where alyx is where now.
you find alyx and she is very happy and soon you take on your jurney to the boralis as night falls. during night you settle down in a smal tent and you keep watcjh as there can be monsters around. the gman visits you and sais that the choise is soon yours but youy must keep the sid eof the contrakt to abide his employers. you wake up as an combine soldier knocks you out.
you awake in a clell as a combine soldiers look at you and soon they add an adivsor cable tv to you. the advisors say that we can make a deal that you will overrule the world but they will not destroy it. you can then smash the screen or use enter then you beome the ruler. if you smash the screen the combine soldier starts to shot at you but yo uhit him withthe crowbar and he falls down and you take his wepon.
now you are once again free but you are inside th eborelis! you free alex and then you find the mising link - gladus. gladus tells you that portals are safe and you catnt lose anything by using them and that the world neds them. you can again chose to use them or not to use them. but the gmans contract makes you not use them as the portals are danger to gman as he is only on t ouse.
sio you plannt the bomb on tje broelis and you escape in a helicoptere as the borealis blows up and alyx is happy becuase many advisaors were in there! as you fly away alex thanks you for all you have done and kisses you but said that the fight is not over as the war rages on. then the helicopter is shot down and the last words you hrear is doctor freeemaan..

What? No... They said that the episodes are not HL3 and HL3 will be set in another universe, without Gordon.

I'd like to see a new combine alien. Maybe an assasin or something. And deffinatley more weapons because i'm tired of using the same like 10 weapons. I wish that in episode 2 the pick axe you found that you could use it.
